I have hardwood flooring. Is the incline weighted in any way so it won't"travel" while being scrached?

This product weighs approximately 1.6 pounds. This scratcher is weighted enough and will not move depending on the amount of force applied when your cat goes on it.

This scratcher comes with one scratch pad. The double comes with two.
All my cats love this. But one of my cats likes to chew on the outside cardboard container part. Is there a way to get a plastic or hardier construction for the container?
