How do you fill this waterer?

The outer shell can be lifted and removed and then the inner tube can be filled, when full the outer shell can be put back on.

Can this be hung up by the handle to keep it off the ground?

This product is designed to sit on a flat surface, it is not designed to be hung.

Would this work for wild birds or is it for large birds only?

This heavy-duty standalone waterer maintains a constant water level for watering chickens, turkeys, and other poultry.

On the inside surface of the outer cover there is a good deal of a grease or oil coating. I was able clean some of it off with dish soap but I still feel like some is left. Is this normal? Does it need to be cleaned off thoroughly?

There may be some forming oil or sealant still on the product. This can be removed with soapy water and a soft cloth. Rinse well.

Might be nice if they weren't bent so badly

I had to wait 2-3 days and then when they came they were both bent. One is being replaced with another 1-3 days. The other one is bent but I need it so I am using

Leaks, metal is too thin

The bottom is thin and the rim is thin and arrived bent. This causes it to leak. I have worked and worked trying to make the rim level to keep it from leaking out

It is metal. Supposedly durable.

I like the product but both were damaged in shipping. No padding around product at all. Box was thrown; both founts have a flat side on tray. I have to use them
