Maev Human-Grade Skin & Coat Health Wafer Supplement Bars for Dogs, 30 count

This review is for the “Maev Coat Support Health Supplement Bars.” I haven’t used them long enough to see actual results yet (reason for only 4 stars) but I’m very impressed with the ingredients. I have 4 rescued and adopted pit bulls. They ALL have major skin allergies and have to receive allergy shots all year long. I am always buying supplements to assist their immune systems with the hopes of lessening their allergies. It’s heartbreaking seeing them scratch. These supplements actually contain fish oil which is an omega-3 fatty acid that promotes good health such as skin, coat, plus their immune health-which is responsible for allergies. This product is made in the USA, it has excellent ingredients in it - human grade ingredients actually, it contains no synthetics, fillers, or artificial ingredients. Its few ingredients include peanut butter, wheat flour, water, coconut, chia seed, gelatin, fish oil, coconut oil, and Vitamin-E. Those are terrific, natural ingredients all rolled into one. I would definitely give these bars a try, especially if your dog suffers any type of allergies. I am keeping my fingers crossed that this “supplement” helps with my pitties immune systems and overall skin health.

I have been looking for a supplement for my staffy’s sensitive skin that’s a treat and not a pill. These little supplement bars are it! Nelly loves them, and I love that they have all the right ingredients for healthy skin and are actually made of simple, real ingredients. The bars actually look edible, with visible chia seeds. No crumbling mess, just little easy treat-sized squares. I give my pup 2 per the instructions and so far we are very happy with them. Can’t wait to see the long term effects on her skin and coat.

Our Pittbull likes these a lot - even more than her usual hard treats (which she also likes). The advantage is that these are healthier and I think her coat is a little softer. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars is the size. If they were 1/2 the size, I would give 5 stars. She has no trouble eating them, but she would be just as happy with half the size. We can break them in half, but it can be messy since they are crumbly when broken. So the item itself 5 stars. The size 4 stars.

The only reason I’m knocking off a star is because many of the bars in the bag were crushed 💔 That made it difficult to measure them out per feeding. However, my dog is obsessed with these things. The idea of a coat supplement in a cookie is very innovative. It doesn’t have the odor of fish which is something I never liked about using fish oil. The ingredients are amazing! It’s a great choice if you have a dog on a limited ingredient diet like mine. Her coat is becoming shiny and soft!
