Would this help to remove existing plaque?

what is the different between this one and the other without neutralized zinc? what benefits does this one have over the other ?

Answer by ChewyNov 20, 2021
OraZn is positioned more of a maintenance product to easily keep halitosis in check and to prevent plaque and tartar formations. It is generally better accepted by pets that are tougher for compliance and for pet owners who need an easier product to use. The MAXI/GUARD Oral Gel (the one with the vial beside the bottle) is used for more advanced cases where we have a pre-existing condition such as gingivitis, periodontal disease, after oral surgery or after extractions. It is a better tissue healer and stimulates collagen production. This product will also work for halitosis and to help keep plaque and tartar formations from accumulating as fast.

How is it applied

Answer by ChewyApr 23, 2023
The MAXI/GUARD Oral Gel may be applied to large dogs directly from the bottle applicator tip. Smaller pets, especially cats, may require, finger or swab application. This product is concentrated. Apply a small quantity (pea size droplet) to each side of the mouth when treating cats. Choose the method that makes it easiest for you and your pet to engage in a regular and pleasant program of oral cleansing.

Can this be used for bearded dragons

Answer by ChewyMay 06, 2021

I see a serious reduction in inflammation after 3 weeks of use, 3-4 times a week. My cats gingivitis was pretty scary looking. I'm hoping this works even more over time. Easy to put a drop on each back molar, if you're able to, and done. They have not had any behavioral reactions, like running away and hiding if they see me coming, so I'm assuming it's not so bad tasting to them.

Excellent product for removing stains and keeping teeth sparking clean. Rusty our rat terrier had stinky breath and badly stained teeth. After brushing with a tiny toothbrush this dental gel has made his teeth white again. We apply the gel to the toothbrush and disguise it with peanut butter dog toothpaste. Works like a charm.

Does what it's advertised

It has kept my small dog's teeth clean after her very pricey dental cleaning. Worth every penny.

My vet actually recommended this product. I have two toy dogs and like many small dogs, they always have dental issues. The first time my dogs you could tell did not like this product. So I did put a little on my own gums to see what it felt like. it obviously does not have any peroxide in it because it could make the dog vomit, but it was almost like that feel like you were brushing your teeth with peroxide. At the end of the day my dogs teeth have improved so I will continue to use it but I will do so very sparingly
