Would this help to remove existing plaque?

How does the apply? It isn’t a spray.

Open the bottle and pour in the accompanying vial of Vitamin C. Replace applicator tip. After globule drops to the bottom of the bottle, shake until dissolved. Rub or squeeze a small amount (a pea size droplet for cats) on each side above your pet’s back upper teeth and gums. A natural cleansing action will distribute product to remote areas.

How long does product stay active if kept refrigerated.

Usually between 12 and 18 months. It is important to remember that the color of the product indicates if the product is still efficacious. The product starts blue and then will change to a wide range of the color green. Any shade of green shows that the product is still working. If it changes to a yellowish or brownish color, the product is no longer effective.

Vet recommended, did not work

My dog has had several dental surgeries over the years, the most recent was the most extensive. Six months later, his gums were still inflamed. Vet recommended this

My dog has had several dental surgeries over the years, the most recent was the most extensive. Six months later, his gums were still inflamed. Vet recommended this product, and I was excited to try it. First, it was clear my dog HATED the taste. Second, it's not a gel, as stated, it's a liquid, albeit slightly thicker than water, but not by much. It's not easy to apply. A gel would be easier. Third, my dog's gums now look worse, not better, so I am stopping usage. I will go back to Vet's Best enzymatic toothpaste, my old standby, which Chewy sells.

For years I have cleaned my dogs teeth with ORAZen with outstanding results. I mistakenly purchased two bottles of MAXI/GUARD Pet dental gel and regret the purchase

For years I have cleaned my dogs teeth with ORAZen with outstanding results. I mistakenly purchased two bottles of MAXI/GUARD Pet dental gel and regret the purchase. It is a liquid instead of gel. For a couple dollars more I recommend buying the OraZen. Smaller bottle but you use Lot less.

This didn't work

I've been using this every day nothing has changed with my dog's breath all three dogs. Nothing has changed with the condition of their teeth and they do not like
