This is not the easiest to assemble and definitely requires two people to get everything aligned. That being said, it’s controlling the spread of litter on the floor and our cats started using it right away.
Oh it's so nice, and the cats took to it immediately as well. The only problem is that the door magnets do not work (one does pretty well but the other doesn't at all and my one cat jumps out the front door instead of using the entrance so I hear the door close when she's done. Very easy to put together as well, I did it myself. I lined it with waterproof contact paper so it took much longer.
I purchased one of these I think a year ago and just bought a second since I have two cats. They were super easy to put together. Instructions were great. I love the fact that I can put stuff on top of them. You will need to crouch down to open and clean the liter box, but I prefer that to the top opening boxes just because of the counter space that I would lose. The wood feels pretty solid and the hardware is good quality.
Our cat took to it right away. Will still have to wait to see its durability over time. Four stars because the directions were not clear in some places and some pieces had nicks, but I was able to cover with furniture marker.
When I was a teenager I got my first cat in 2005. I begged my parents to buy me my first LitterMaid self-cleaning litter box because I would be at school for 8 hours and the litter might start sinking up the house. That box lasted me 12 years. I purchased this multi-cat one for my cat who has bowel issues. It's larger and keeps up with her constant usage. I only use the LitterMaid corn cob litter. It has a pleasant smell and clumps well, and what doesn't clump, I clean up with the rake. I don't like having my litter box out in the open for our dogs to grab a "cat cookie". Admittedly the box is rather large and it was difficult to find hideaway litter box furniture. But after a lot of searching I came across one on Chewy. Another person posted about their box fitting so I knew mine would too. I'm so happy with my LitterMaid self-cleaning multi-cat litter box and the hideaway furniture. I was surprised that the ramp / litter catcher was able to fit in the box.
This is a must for any cat owner that has limited space. This keeps a large litter box perfectly for our four cats. We keep their food and water bowls on top. Cannot say enough about this
I like the look and feel of this wooden litter box enclosure. It fits decently large litter boxes, or 2 medium sized boxes. Unfortunately, the door became unable to close fully after a short while, which makes it useless for the reason I bought it - keeping my dogs out of the cat box.
Easy to assemble and just as described! I recommend getting some magnets or something to reinforce the front doors as my cats just push them open to exit. If your cats are litter spreaders this definitely helps! Also contains the smell and isnt an eyesore.
Big enough for my 15lb cat to go in and out and have enough space to turn around inside to bury the stuff and shake off the litter toes.
While putting bench together realized there is no cat for panel. The whole reason I bought it. It is literally just a bench
