    This worked very very well

By George on Mar 30, 2021

20-year-old cockiteal had signs of respiratory and gaping. Added 1/8 teaspoon to 4 ounces of water for six days, bird responded immediately after one day and seemed completely cured after three. Ran it for the full term;As is required for all antibiotic treatment. Also bird loves plain pasta so I added a little bitOf medicated water to keep pasta soft. Definitely did the trick. Only one avian vet in our area and they wanted me to wait 7 to 10 days to get the bird into their office. which is completely ridiculous. As you know when a bird shows signs of illness you have to treat it immediately. Thank you again Chewey for all your assistance

    Happy parakeet!

By Shay on Feb 7, 2021

I recently bought my parakeet from a local pet store. I’m not sure what happened, but it seems like the bird was sick prior to me purchasing it. My parakeet had diarrhea to the point where he wouldn’t go on his perch. I did not know what to do so I decided to put apple cider vinegar in its water before I can find something better. There was no vet near my area and I was worried that I will lose my new parakeet :( Fortunately, I did my research and found out that my parakeet had some sort of bacteria that’s causing the diarrhea. I purchased this in hopes that my parakeet will move around, eat, drink, chirp and play like my other parakeet and I am thrilled to say that in a day my parakeet is moving I recently bought my parakeet from a local pet store. A must have if your bird has respiratory issues

By Faith on Jan 20, 2021

I took my little budgie to the vet because he looked sickly, his tail was bobbing almost constantly even when he wasn’t moving, he was wheezing and sneezing, and he stopped cleaning himself and he wasn’t making any sounds. They told me he had a respiratory infection. I came across this product and decided to buy it thinking I would need eventually and it’s a good thing I did! I put him into his own cage separate from my other birds and began giving him this. He has slowly, but steadily improved! His feathers aren’t always fluffed up anymore and he has started to chirp again and he has his energy back, but I will keep him on this stuff until I’m confident he’s back to health. Was hoping this would work...

By petmanship on Jan 31, 2021

I tried this for my male budgie who periodically has watery stools. I precisely followed the directions for diluting, mixing, storage, and administration. I did not see any changes in his stools, and am disappointed that this didn't work given that it is broad spectrum. I'm going to try some probiotics and apple cider vinegar and see if that will help instead.

    Excellent product!

By MSerra on Dec 2, 2020

This product saved my birds life! My bird had a bacterial infection and no vet within 2.5 hours of me would treat her. Wouldn't even see her. She was dying. Couldn't stand, wouldn't eat, wouldn't drink, and was struggling to breathe. All the vets I called felt it was not worth the cost of treating her and she simply wasn't worth their time (one vet even advised I cull her myself, which was unprofessional and unacceptable). So, desperate to help Snowball, I ordered this as a last "hail Mary" chance for her. This product arrived next day, and I had to hand feed her and water her with a feeding tube because she was so weak she was dying. Without this I would have lost a beloved family member. I couldn't be more elated with the results from the enrotex (a tetracycline based antibiotic). Thank you chewy for your amazing selections of products and carrying a product that saved Snowball! … more

    By Linda58 on Dec 18, 2020

My parakeet, kiwi had watery poop, was not drinking. Listness, overall not herself. I bought this product and it worked. The poop is back to normal. She is drinking, eating. Just not chirping.
