There is a HUGE difference between large and regular size!
By GoBig on Jan 21, 2021
I originally purchased the large box locally and love it. No problems, cleans as claimed. I have multiple cats and decided to get another box in the regular size to fit better into a corner nook space. The box fits nicely into this space but it did not go together as smoothly as the large box. The scooper drawer does not close fully, if I do not hold the drawer in place when I roll litter will seep out. It also does not clean the same. Whenever I roll the regular size box to clean it the grate pops out of place and I am back back to scooping and cleaning up an even larger mess. These things do not happen with the large box, the large box is amazing! It is possible this regular size box is defective I originally purchased the large box locally and love it. Cat Scratch Fever, Rock & Roll
By JayJakeAndMikeka on Jan 4, 2021
Hi All , Well I received this this in a couple of days right before Christmas ? Works great ! Way to easy to clean. But it helps to have a regular open cat litter box next to this one on the first day. Both of my cats only used this one on the third day. But my big male cat that has to get into everything. Keeps pulling up the sifting grate. So I have Lean the box to the left first. Then snap the grate back it. The roll it the right way to clean it. And if I go to far and get good clean litter. I just dump it in the regular cat litter box. No Biggie , I plan to order a second one soon. But I wish Chewy made one two sizes bigger. Then I would only need one.

Consider the size of your cat
By GeorgiaBets on Jan 21, 2021
1. Even if you purchase the large size, it will be accommodating only to a petite adult. Because she has deep fear of other cats, she lives separate from the other cats, so it works ok for her. I have an 18 lb cat and no way would I expect him to use it. 2. Small lumps get stuck on the sifting grid, and get dumped back into the cleaned litter. Designers should have made the grid with round bars, I think it would be more effective. That being said, I do not regret the purchase for my petite lady. But for my other cats, I will shop for another.

Easy Litterbox
By Sandy on Jan 12, 2021
My cats took to this box right away. Clean up is a snap, as long as you remember to roll it slowly back and forth and give it a tap while inverted. I did have some spillage and a malfunction one time when I rolled it too far, but that was not a design flaw - just operator error. Literally done cleaning in seconds (30 or less) with NO dust. I need a box in our main living area as our cats do not get along, and this box is inoffensive and inconspicuous. I believe they track less litter out of this box than their other sifter boxes. Definitely cuts down on my "digger" throwing piles of litter out of the box! Well worth the money for us.

Makes Litter Box Cleaning a Pure Joy
By fubar on Jan 14, 2021
I don't know how anyone could complain about this box. I have two prolific and rather large boy cats, they love to use the box, still manage to get litter out of the box but that is not the fault of the box. Some people have left reviews that it is hard to close or hard to use, r-u nuts? Nothing could be easier. You roll the box to the right, clean litter goes through a vent, chunks go into a tray up above. Chunks come out and go in maybe a plastic bag, for the garbage. Clean litter goes right back where kitties can use it. Snaps are easy to close, you just tap them with your fist.

Last time I buy through here.
By Kitty on Jan 10, 2021
Got this litter box. Paid the same price as if I had bought locally, just locally they were out of the size I needed. WORST product ever and now I am stuck with a litter box that if the cat pees on the back side all the litter sticks and doesn't dump out so now I STILL have to remove the lid to clean the POS. Never so unhappy with a product in my life! and will never buy online again since I cannot return. May as well have wiped my rear with the money I spent. Do not buy this unless your cat is one that pees and poops in the exact center of the box. BTW the supposed "scoop" doesn't even fit correctly to even hold itself in. Cheaply made product, avoid! If I could I would give it a -10

Great for easy quick cleans
By Steph on Jan 22, 2021
I bought this litter box for my son and his cat when he moved out of the house. I knew he wouldn’t like scooping the litter and this box makes it super easy for him to do and not having to scoop. You just roll it on the side, give it a good tap to get anything off the side and all falls into the compartment and you pull it out and throw away. I’ve bought this same one a couple times for the same reason. When you have kids or someone who won’t like this task this is a great box!!

Easy Peasy!
By TYes on Jan 6, 2021
I had this same litter box for the last 7 years. I loved it, but one of plastic pieces broke and I could no longer roll it. I bought this newer model and like it more. The latches for the lid are much better than on the old model and the sifting wall fits in better. Our cat is large, (12.5 lbs.), and she fits in this comfortably. It is easy to roll and then dump. Just make sure to roll slowly so you don’t end up dumping extra litter! I am looking forward to having it for at least another 7+ years!

Spare yourself much grief.

I don't normally feel compelled to leave a negative review on products here on Chewy, since cat toys, food, etc are usually a matter of preference. But this litter box is SO BAD that I must urge you to pass on this one. I have had cats for years and have tried just about every litter box. This is by far the worst one I have ever used, and it's not cheap for what it is. I was initially very optimistic, reading reviews about possible user error and a learning curve. I stuck it out for two weeks, but it has been awful. The poor construction has led to disaster after disaster, despite being as gentle with it as possible and trying to adjust any techniques. I stuck it out for two weeks, but it has been awful. The poor construction has led to disaster after disaster, despite being as gentle with it as possible and trying to adjust any techniques. The cage into which litter filters is very prone to popping free and dumping its contents suddenly, even if there's not an excess of sand in the box (the design here is baffling, as it is not actually hooked or clipped in, which you would expect for a box that you roll over). So much litter has been wasted as a result. As others have said, there is a sizeable gap at the handle of the scoop through which waste can slip out; again, it's poor construction with just a basic, imprecise cutout in the plastic for the scoop to slide through and there is nothing to secure it or keep it flush. You will be rolling the box several times to clean it, because the tip of the scoop doesn't reach all the way across. Tilting the box to try and avoid these issues ultimately leads to a bigger mess. Waste gets caught in the plastic grill and more unclean litter is tracked outside the box (I have a rug in the washing machine for the second time as I type this). Also, the area of box for the cat is small. I knew that it would be smaller than a normal large box because of the space needed for the grill to sift the litter, but this really is not sufficient. Overall, I have wasted litter from the loose cage dumped on the floor, had waste stick behind in the grill leading to a messier box and cat, and waste actually fall out through the gap for the scoop. Don't do it. I am stuck with it now, but you don't have to join me. … more

Love this box
By SheWhoTrips on Dec 31, 2020
I've bought three of these so far. I recommend getting the larger ones if you have room simply because they hold more litter and give cats more room to turn around. I have tried many litter boxes in my quest to make life easier. I've bought both standard litter boxes and one of those electric ones but the Omega box is easier to clean than all these - even the electric one since you still have to clean out the poop storage box and that's virtually impossible to do without touching cat litter. If it weren't for the fact that one of my cats won't use a covered box, I'd just switch all my boxes to these. For one thing, you literally never have to scoop.
