  • Can be fed to older rabbits having problems maintaining weight due to age or illness. When supplemented with free-choice grass hay
  • Bunny Basics Young Rabbit may also be fed to pregnant or nursing rabbits.
  • Always change your rabbit's food gradually to allow the digestive system time to adapt. Some rabbits are resistant to change, so time and patience are needed when switching feeds.

Can I feed this to my 9 week old rabbit and my rabbit that’s almost 2? It is impossible to feed them both separate food. Thx!

This food is made specifically to meet the unique, daily dietary requirements of rabbits under a year old. It is also ideal for rabbits with problems maintaining weight due to age or illness. When fed to an average adult rabbit, they may gain weight so it is not recommended for them.

oxbow is good but not the best like everyone says

i’ve been transitioning my bunny to these pellets from the horrible grain based ones that his breeder was feeding him just bc oxbow doesn’t make this feed in bulk. i think they should bc those pellets were upsetting his tummy but now there aren’t any issues with his stool. they are definitely one of the healthier options since they have the recommended nutritional value unlike the old ones but i’m not a fan of a lot of the ingredients especially since baby buns need to eat more pellets than the adults yet their adult rabbit pellets seem to be healthier. i’d recommend sherwood pellets despite them being twice the price as oxbow. if you can’t afford a quality pellet you shouldn’t have a rabbit.

Good quality

This is a great feed for most Rabbits. I recently switched my 2 seven month old rabbits off of their old feed and was concerned that they might have digestive problems, but there was 0 problems and by the end of the transition they were eating all of the oxbow before the previous feed. The price increased unfortunately so I am not giving full ratting.

Love the 25lb Bag!

I had been buying the 5 pound bag at the local pet store. I noticed the 25 lb. bag on here and ordered it. I couldn't be happier with my order! Everytime I open it the smell is so fresh. I'm saving so much buying in bulk! Fluffy loves this brand. He loves when I fill up his food. The smell is just great. He loves it!

Not for us

My Astra will not eat this. I've been trying to wean her off of another brand onto this and she'll eat all of the other but this will still be in her bowl. She'll only eat it after it's been around all day and there's nothing else to eat.

my rabbit Binx ABSOLUTELY LOVES it.

My 5 month old Binx absolutely loves this food, he would much rather eat his pellets than hay (which he does) I usually use his pellets as a treat as well. I 100% recommend this brand over any other.

Package ipen3d

We recently purchased a bag of this food and when it arrived the bag had a large cut in it, spilling the contents throughout the box. The food seems to be OK but now I'm worried about it losing its freshness quicker.
