Happy Piggies Have Their Yummy Hay!
By Giggy on Jan 5, 2021
I have been looking for a reliable source of the 50# Orchard Grass for our herd of 22 Guinea Pigs. After being overcharged, long shipping delays and having our order delivered to the wrong side of the country I took the plunge and started my repeat delivery from Chewy. My hay was delivered within a week of shipment and we could not be more delighted. Hay is the #1 most important part of a guinea pig's diet and with such a large herd we need to match quality with price. Chewy has my vote. Thank you so much!!!

Poor Quality
By BunnyMom on Jan 8, 2021
I have ordered this a few times and it was fine, however my last order was such poor quality that I am ordering a new product and throwing away almost the entire 50lb box. Its soft and soggy. My bunnies are a little picky with their hay and they hate this. It's extremely dusty. So disappointing, especially considering the price for this product was just increased. I won't order again, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Really is just luck...
By Guest on Jan 4, 2021
This is my first time ordering this much hay, I normally go into petsmart and buy the 90oz Oxbow hay, but I decided to go with this and I'm not convinced it's worth it. The amount of DUST is crazy! I shake it really well into a bin before feeding it to my piggies & an unacceptable amount of dust falls out so I'm not sure how much actual hay you're getting for your money's worth.

Best deal out there, but quality might be different.
By Jenni on Dec 18, 2020
The quality of hay is questionable for the 50 pound batch. One time, I was out of hay, so, I bought a smaller bag of Oxbow Timothy hay from the pet store. I noticed my bunnies' poops turned into a lighter brown color and more healthy looking. When we switched back to the 50 pound batch, their poops turned back to very dark brown - black color. Again, this service is good for convenience. If you'd like to improve, it'd be great if the quality of hay in the 50 pound batch was just as good as the 20 pound batch.

Bunnies Love Oxbow Hay
By BilboB on Jan 1, 2021
I have 3 house rabbits and usually purchase the 50lb box of Oxbow Western Timothy Hay. Sometimes, I will order the smaller bags of other hays for variety. I have had very good experience with the hay I receive and my bunnies love it. Sometimes, I may get some hay that are perhaps not as green or have thicker straws but my bunnies still enjoy Oxbow hay the most.

Great hay!
By Bennysmom on Jan 5, 2021
I bought the 50 pound box with some trepidation after reading the other reviews. However, the box I received seems perfectly fine. I haven't seen all of it, but what I can see seems just as good as any I've received in smaller packages. I also appreciate that where I keep it (in a storage room in my house), it will keep good indefinitely!

Hit and Miss
By Saylor on Jan 2, 2021
I agree with other reviews. Quality of 50 lb. boxes are hit and miss. Ya never know what you'll end up receiving. Frustrating that the quality isn't consistent and reliable. Also, the price has always been $53.12 for the years I've been using this hay. Now I see the price has been jacked up to $63.49. Quite a significant increase all at once. Wow!

Princess Approved
By JoJo on Dec 31, 2020
Our little BunBun Princess approves of this Timothy Hay. Have been most pleased with this brandy since she was a tiny baby bunny. Small amount on bottom of bag has some dust and very small pieces but that would be expected with the type of product this is. I usually just put in her bowl with pellets to finish off since it won't stay in her bail or hay ball.

Very pleased!
By MerlinsDaughter on Dec 12, 2020
After having had a recent horrible experience with Paypal, I'm more leery ordering online and almost didn't order. But after I read how easy Chewy seems to handle dissatisfaction of products, I decided to try online ordering with Chewy. I have been very pleased with the quality of the hay I ordered and my little g-pigs love it too. Every time I open the back, I get a loud and excited whistle concert. :) I'm going to buy this again when I'm starting to run out.
