To my surprise it was deliver today at 8:30 A.M. which was great! The hay was very good looking and it smells really really nice my 4 guinea pigs went straight to it. They were very happy so thank you chewy for such fast awesome service! I completely recommend it and will be buying again.

  • High quality

    By on

We had been getting timothy hay from another company. We ordered Oxbow from Chewy for the conveniece and because we know Oxbow to be a reputable, vet recommended company. When it arrived, we were very impressed with the color and quality of this hay compared to the other brand. Wow! This will be the only hay we will feed our rabbit now. Highly recommended

  • Hit or miss, but...

    By on

When you buy the bigger bags, like the 50-lb, sometimes you get great flakes, sometimes you don't. But you can always call Oxbow and let them know what's up and they'll replace the product. Make sure you get the lot# on the package because they use that for reference with QC.

  • Best quality found for a city dweller

    By on

Oxbow is the most consistent hay that I can find as a city dweller. Rather than risking tiny amounts of hay from sketchy pet shops, I order 9 lbs each time and have a stock for 1-2 months for a middle aged bun. We once found a bird in a bag and Oxbow quickly remedied the situation directly through the company. Additionally, we had one soggy/soiled bag that was left out in the rain upon delivery and unusable, and Chewy shipped it next day!

  • bunny Loves It!

When I first got my rabbit I fed her Kaytee brand food and hay because it was cost effective. After reading reviews here I decided to try Oxbow hay and food. Now she won't eat anything other than Oxbow! This hay is also much cleaner as it produces less dust and fallen/wasted hay.

  • too hard for rabbit

    By on

Good price and the hay was pretty fresh. But I gave 3 stars because my rabbit wouldn't eat majority of the hay. He only picks out the flower head and leaves and uses the rest as litter probably because the stem is too hard for him. Will not purchase again.

  • Best hay for adult rabbits.

    By on

I work with a rescue for house rabbits and the most important food for them is Timothy Hay . .. 24/7. Oxbow has the best quality hay on the market. Having eleven rabbits, I do come close to running short if I am not careful so CHEWY has come to my rescue more than once.

  • Rabbits love it

    By on

I have tried different brands of timothy and none ever added up to the oxbow. The oxbow consistently smells and looks fresh. Sometimes I'll get a bad bag where it's a little brown but the rabbits still eat it. It's not dusty and it has a good mix of thick hay and thin hay. It's pricey, but you get quality when you buy oxbow
