  • What Happened?

    By on

My guinea pigs used to love this mix but the last couple of bags I have bought are dried out, almost all hard pieces and has no fresh scent. My guinea pigs will pick out the soft pieces and all the rest is waste, they won't touch it. This product used to be much better quality. I am going to try a different type from Oxbow in a smaller bag. If it is as bad, I will have to find a different brand. Truly disappointing.

  • It works for my piggie!

My dude loves his hay and I like that this mixes timothy with something else to give his diet a little more variety. I also think Oxbow is a solid brand in general. We are currently experimenting with other types of hay as well to add more enrichment to his life.

  • Great mix for domestic bunnies!

    By on

After a diet of Timothy, some pellets and occasional treats, our house bunny loved the Oxbow Timothy/Orchard Grass mix! Seems that this has become a regular in her diet.

  • Large Quantity

    By on

This hay is a good quality, large amount of hay. Be prepared to store it if you only have one or two small animals. It is an excellent mix of the two hay types and smelled fresh in its resealable bag. We have purchased several kinds of hay, including from the feed store, and found this to be the best so far.

  • Go-to hay for our bunny!

    By on

This is our all time favorite and regularly ordered hay to give to our rabbit! The hay has always been fresh, green, soft, and long strands when we order this blend, and the bun munches it right up! We've tried plain timothy hay from Oxbow and other brands, but it's been disappointingly short stranded and dusty. We would recommend this variety from Oxbow to any rabbit owner because it's much less messy.

  • Perfect for rabbits

    By on

Not only is this hay healthy and organic but has two different blends giving my rabbit the ultimate selection and quite yummy flavors! I actually can tell the difference between her preference of hays. I ran out of this once and borrowed a different brand from a friend and she practically refused to eat it. She loves oxbow!

  • A good blend

    By on

Oxbow used to have consistent quality but lately has been hit or miss. This blend has been more consistently fresh. The hay is longer and more full.

  • Glady's mom

My guinea pig doesn't care for this.A lot of it is like string and very dry.I have about 6 bags I ordered thinking she'd like it ,but she doesn't really care for it. I think I'll go back to buying each kind of this mixture in their own bag instead of this way.

  • Nice and moist

    By on

This hay is very thin and moist. The rabbits enjoy not having to go to their water bottle every minute for a drink. That said, it sticks to everything; and mixes with their bedding. The rabbits had a little trouble separating it from their cotton (Carefresh) bedding. It was like spaghetti. I do like the large mouth bag and large amount.
