Petmaker Indoor Restroom Puppy Potty Trainer, Medium
Dog/Cleaning & Potty/Potty Training
When it comes to household training, turn to something a little more realistic with the Petmaker Indoor Restroom Puppy Potty Trainer. The perfect place for pets to relieve themselves when they can’t go outside, this mat and tray system mimics the real look and feel of grass—which is where all dogs prefer to actually go. And if that isn’t enticing enough, the artificial turf gives on an organic scent that attracts dogs to use it, and it’s antimicrobial and odor resistant to keep your indoor space fresh and clean. The three-layer system works by sitting the mat on top of the plastic insert, which allows the liquid to drain into the included tray for easy cleanup.

My pup (pom/terrier mix) uses this fake grass to learn about going outside. It is very useful. He took to it pretty quickly. The only down fall is the cleaning. Once he does his business you need to clean it. Foe me that was about 3-4 times a day. Compare that to pads..and well , the cost of water to clean it doesn't really save much money.
Not so good

I bought one of these things thinking it would be an answer, or at least help, with potty training. I had 2 small dogs who hated to do their business outside. I tried at least 15 spray products from a pet supply company, and none had any effect. I thought this thing looks like grass, and used it exactly as the directions stated. Neither dog would go near it. I put a scented puppy training pad in the tray, under the plastic grass. One dog used it once. After that, they laid on it like it was a doggie bed. I fought with them and this device that would supposedly solve my problems. Placed phermone and other attracting sprays on top. Nothing. I've had dogs ranging from 4lbs - 60lbs. Little dogs just don't like to go potty outside. I've swapped stories with many other small dog owners, and they've all said the same thing. Sometimes I would be able to get them to go outside, if I took them every 2 hrs. But, if you work, or have a life, who can do this? And even if my small dogs did their business outside, and were rewarded, many times they'd go again as soon as they got back inside. The best product I've ever used was a spray called "No Go". You just have to remember to spray it on areas the dogs are attracted to several times a day. I've learned that a 50/50 homemade spray of vinegar & water works as well, if not better. I'm going to begin that tomorrow. This item may help with larger dogs. I can only relay my experience.… more

My puppy started using this the first day it arrived. We introduced this pad via training we learned online. We switched from disposable puppy pads to this item and the results were much better. Puppy goes to it all on his own now and we've only had it a few weeks. Be patient, it's not a magic fix. It's easy to clean in the laundry sink and works nicely with a disposable puppy pad underneath (I'm using my leftovers which I won't need to buy again). We bought two so we can always have one drying or cleaned.
Great for Puppies

I bought this to start potty training my 4 week old puppies. As soon as I placed it down, they went right to it and have been using it ever since. I just started using it this week and I love it. It's so easy to clean and it keeps messes off the floor. The 'grass' is realistic looking. The price was well worth it.
These are fantastic!

Love having these- my dog is 2 years old and transitioned well to them. Easy to clean but buy 2 so that when you clean one (and it takes a while to dry) to you have the other to use for your dog. I love it because you can't smell the urine inside the house (we use this instead of a pee pee pad). Just tell your friends not to step on it.

Not so good for our 9 week old, 4.7 pound beagle/heeler mix. There are no clips to hold the grass in the tray and puppy just takes off with it and chews/wrestles with it. Tried to find clips to hold it in place, but the lip of the tray makes it difficult for a clip to grip on to, along with the grass pad. May need to return the 2 I ordered.
MY CATS LIKE THIS
on Feb 2, 2018
My cats have a nasty habit of peeing in one place. To protect my floor, I put this wee wee pad down, and it's much better than wetting the floor. But I have to say, it leaves no urine odor which is even better. I couldn't tell if they urinated on the pad or not till I checked it.
Green for GO!

Who would have thought this would REALLY work? My puppy is 6 weeks old. I brought him home and placed him directly in the middle of the grass, he literally squatted within seconds and went potty! and yes, when it was time for Number 2... he went right over and went on the grass. Clean up is so simple! Simply take this 3 piece set apart, rinse with soap and water-allow to dry then it's all ready to go again. This has saved me from having to brave the cold winter and allows my puppy to "Go" inside where it's warm and comfy! I would recommend this to anyone getting a new puppy!
Puppy Potty Trainer

Excellent training tool. Puppy identified quickly to potty on the grass. Suggest purchasing two for ease of training. Side note: I found my puppy preferring this over real grass in the mornings. He is short and does not like wet grass outside!
Makes potty training a breeze

I have a 6 week old puppy who is too young to be kept in a crate for several hours. So when we leave we put her in a play pen with this and she began using it right away! We didn't have to do any extra training. We put potty pads in it to help with clean up and it works like a charm!
