    Works! Really

    By on

Brought 8 week old puppy home and he was going outside on his own. Thought this was never gonna work - placed outside my back door and took him to potty here instead of grass . Week in he bolted took off through back woods . Went cold turkey for potty on the potty then take a walk outside . He’s not totally housebroken but we are down to about 1 sneaky accident a day. Zuchon teddy bear so for the breed I think at 4 months we are doing pretty good . Had a few days of heavy rain and felt more sure this was the route to go. Mine is now 6 lbs. I use the liquid mix and spray and I’m sorry but I have to empty every 3-4 days . It starts to smell foul not like pee but foul . You need a second to have when you wash it in the machine . I plan to switch out and wash weekly going forward. Don’t balk at the price - it’s less then a few months pee pads and more environmentally friendly. Took mine on his first walk - he know he can pee on real grass on a walk and on his potty grass at home . Feet stay dry drains like it should just dread him seeing another dog lift their leg as that could be a challenge . … more

    Disappointed

    By on

I was enthusiastic about this when I first read the description and decided to purchase it even though it was expensive. Unfortunately, my dog insisted on chewing and biting off bits of the plastic green mat which necessitated its removal. So disappointed!

    Very interesting tool

    By on

I have had a difficult time getting my mini Aussie potty trained, lots of accidents. I tried all kinds of sprays and liquid attractants with no results, and was very frustrated. I figured this might be worth a shot. So bought one. She took to it like butter on bread! I am very pleased with results. So pleased, in fact, that I am ordering a second one for the bedroom.

    What is up with manufacturing

    By on

I don’t think this is Chewy’s fault at all but the first piddle place I received didn’t have the draining spout at all, and then the replacement didn’t have the covering for the switch. If this item is so expensive it should have better quality control. 2 stars only for customer service, the quality control is ridiculous

    Highly Recommend

We live in a 4 story walkup in Brooklyn. When we started looking for a puppy, we knew we needed to train her to go inside or we'd be climbing four flights of stairs every time she needed to go. I hated the look of disposable pads and didn't want to create that kind waste. The Piddle Place was the solution. We picked up our little 10 week old poodle and brought her home, I place her on the Piddle Pad and she immediately went potty. Potty training was a breeze after that, with lots of treats and praise she got the hang of it very quickly. She's now a year old and weighs 10 lbs. We empty it about every 2 weeks and it never smells up our tiny apartment. As for the size, I don't think it would work We live in a 4 story walkup in Brooklyn. Gift For A Service Dog

    By on

I purchased this as a gift for a special lady with a service dog. Her dog has to use one of these because he has cancer and his other one got cracked. I have never met this lady personally, but I still would do anything I could for her and her dog.

    Easy cleanup

    By on

I have two of these. It’s easy to clean and my dogs paw pads stay dry. No long grass to try and clean. Absolutely love this piddle pad. Stays fresh smelling also.

To small For a 34 pound dog

    By on

This item may be a good idea but it’s just to small for my dog who weight is 34 pounds. She Just wont use it. I have to go back to her old one which is much bigger but does not have a drainage system.
