We use treats generously to train and use this food as training bits. It works great because it is different from her regular food and she loves them! It is much cheaper than treats, which we also buy for certain things when we need a high-value treat, but this food is by far the best for cost-effective training we have found!

This puppy food definitely can be trusted for smaller breeds to eat without any issues. Purina One is a great high protein puppy formula that they absolutely enjoy eating.

My dog has a slow feeder but still inhales her food. I have to take like 3-5 extra minutes to soften her food before giving it to her. Its not that big of a deal but she gets even more excited waiting
