So when I switch to Roudybush do I stop providing a cottle bone and beak conditioners also? Also I use vitamin drops in the cockatiels water and give them fruit pellets along with crumbled egg so I stop all of this?
Answer by ChewyFeb 15, 2018
The food contains the needed vitamins a bird needs so you could stop adding the drops in the water but the other options can be used as treats, given every now and then.

When feeding your birds Roudybush, do you still give them the protein egg food?
Answer by ChewyJul 17, 2018
Use this diet when switching your bird from its old diet to Roudybush. Continue to feed to Adult birds that are not laying eggs or feeding chicks. If you have a bird that is a chronic egg - layer or a bird with a tendency to develop hypocalcaemia (like African Greys), mix 2/3 Maintenance with 1/3 High - Energy Breeder to supply more calcium and vitamin D3. Do not give additional vitamin or mineral supplements.

My lovebird loves this crumble.

My lovebird loves this Daily Maintenance Crumble Bird Food. I used to always buy him the Daily Maintenance pellets and he ate well, but he seems to almost ask for refills. As far as I can tell he is thriving on it but I do add vitamins and other small amounts of food to his diet.

Not so bad!

My tiel had been eating grocery store seeds and looked depressed so I was recommended this food to help his diet. I didn’t expect him to take to it because he had a history of refusing new foods but he loved it immediately! The pellet sizes are definitely inconsistent but I don’t think he minds too much.

Great for Cockatiel

My Cockatiel has been eating Roudybush Crumbles since he was 3 months old. He loves it and it is very nutritious for him. Chewy always has quality food and I never have to worry that I will get food beyond its expiration date. Super fast shipping.

Reliable Bird Food

I feed it To my Parolet because it's small and easy to digest as apposed to large nuts and seeds.

Great for budgies!

I used to give my budgies other brands of pellets and always heard of Roudybush. I decided to try it and I’m glad I did! They are very picky eaters so at first they would act like what is that then they decided they like it and now they go crazy for it!

Gabby’s Muffins

I make bird muffins for my Quaker Parrot and Roudybush crumbles are an ingredient. He loves his muffing and they help keep him very healthy. Chewy is the only place I can find these crumbles. Delivery is always very quick and customer service is outstanding.

Our birds love this food. We have tried other brands but always come back to this brand. This is our first time trying the crumble. We mixed it with the pellets for our birds We feed our love bird, sun conure, Quaker, and green cheek the same bag.

too big for budgie

i would not recommend this pellet for anything smaller than a cockatiel. my budgie and canary wont touch it because the pieces are too big. however, my conure really likes these. i am getting the smaller size for my small birds but i definitely think the crumbles are too big for tiny birds.
