what is the difference between Sensitive Digestion and Digestive Care? Please don't answer, "Sensitive Digestion is formulated for adult cats with digestive tract sensitivities and the Digestive Care dry cat food is formulated for cats sensitive stomachs" Because that doesn't help.

The Digestive Care is for cats who eat too fast and regurgitate their food. The Sensitive Digestion is for cats who may have diarrhea, for example.

This item is specifically suited to cats that may have a sensitive digestive system. I think it’s a good choice and Royal Canin has a great reputation. The size of the kibble is not too big nor too small. My cat enjoys the crunch and his fur is healthy and shiny. More importantly-he really likes eating this. Yes, it’s a bit pricey, but I choose to provide a healthy diet for my cats.

Our fur family (2 cats, ages 10 & 5.5 yrs) do very well on Royal Canin Feline Sensitive Digestion hard food. Four years ago, our older kitty was vomiting several times per week. After a vet visit assessment, the veterinarian suggested this product. Our cats love it and since being on it have had very few vomiting incidences. We are so grateful our sweet, older kitty is doing so well on it! And our younger kitty likes it very much as well : )

For two years, I’ve tried food after food looking for one that didn’t upset my cats stomach. He was on science diet I’d for a long time but they changed their formula much like all of their varieties and the result has not been good. Cat food makers are putting so many unnecessary ingredients that our cats stomachs are confused. Used to be I could count on science diet, not anymore. I almost gave up on trying other foods but thought what the heck. Finally the diarrhea is gone. It wasn’t oily thank goodness. He eats it fine and now has healthy stools. This change occurred after just a few days of eating it. Hopefully, they will not change the formula, fingers crossed.

First thing that made a big difference for our sensitive-tummy kitty

We've had the sweetest kitty for about two years, and she barfs, only in the morning, about twice a week. (Yes, we've been to the vet and tried all the things.)

This is the first thing we've tried that has almost STOPPED the barfing. It's happened just one time since we started her on this three weeks ago.

I feed this to my 10yo who is both kibble-picky and sensitive. Don’t know what it is about this food but she absolutely loves it. All of my cats get a primarily wet diet with about 1/5 dry for enrichment or when I am stuck on a long shift and need to use the auto feeder. Might be out of budget for someone who feeds primarily dry food.

Was hoping she would eat this since she's be having diarrhea for many years but she didn't. She also didn't eat the royal canin renal chow in dry form, so I was beginning to wonder if it was a mouth/teeth issue. Moistened the sensitive food, mixed it with canned and she ate ok but not great. Yesterday, at store, saw Rachel Ray's Nutrish Everyday Digestion, thought I'd give it a go, Pearl is eating this in dry form!!! Woohoo! Now, time will tell if it helps her diarrhea issue.

This is way too expensive, in general. We actually use it instead of kitty treats. Since it is a different taste than their normal dry food- they really enjoy the treat. Better for them than normally purchased kitty treats that have less savory ingredients. One of our girls has a sensitive belly and doesn’t tolerate run of the mill treats.
