how long can you store the hay for without it going bad?

If hay is kept away from sunlight ,heat & humidity it should last a year or more. As time goes on it may lose some of its field fresh fragrance, but it doesn’t go bad unless there is a source of moisture in its storage area.
So this 2nd cut Timothy box has a photo that lists also alfalfa and other types on the box. Is this a mix of 4 or just the box you use for any of those types

Depending on the amount your guinea pigs eat will determine how long a box with last. For active, growing, pregnant, or nursing pets, offer handfuls of alfalfa hay to your pet(s) daily. For older pets, use as a treat by giving just a pinch of alfalfa. Offer different hays together to add variety to your pet's diet and to find your pet's favorite types of hay.

Fantastic

I love this hay. I love that it's a local business (Massachusetts, I've driven past the farm before) and I can get it in a huge amount. I've never gotten a bad box before, the quality had always been fantastic and my girls go absolutely crazy for it.

Fresh, green, soft

Sweet Meadow is by far my favorite brand of hay. I ordered the 9 pound box. What a great price for the amount and quality. When I opened it it smelled so fresh and sweet. It was so green and soft and fluffy and not dusty at all! Highly recommend this hay especially for Guinea pigs that like to burrow in hay. I also love how eco friendly the packaging is! This is a huge deal. It came in a compostable bag in the box.

bun’s favorite hay

I have two rabbits, a Flemish giant and Rex! This honestly is their favorite hay, anytime I fill up their bins they go right to it and chow down! We ran out before our order came in and I had to by a different brand of hay from the store, and they would not eat it. I love the texture of this hay and so do my buns!

Guinea pig and bunbun approved!

I picked this up because it was the biggest box of hay I could get for my 2 guinea pigs and lion head rabbit and was pleasantly surprised at the quality compared to oxbow, which I had been previously buying. The hay is soft, has minimum dust, and I have yet to find any debris that accidentally gets mixed/cut with the hay. I am on my 5th box. My pigs and bunny love it and I love that it is supporting a local farm, since I am from Massachusetts myself.

Beautiful Timothy Hay

Gorgeous, sweet-smelling second-cut timothy hay purchased for my sick horse who refused to eat her regular grass hay. This hay was a winner! I would definitely purchase it again if the need arises, or if I were to get another house rabbit.

I absolutely love it

I have tried so many different hays for my guinea pigs and its so hard to find a good batch of hay that I like as well as them and I absolutely love this hay its soft its easy for them to eat and pull out of there hay bags and I am going to keep buying this one from now on...
