Vetericyn Eye Wash for Pets, 3-oz bottle

I was surprised to see this was the only brand name eye wash out there. What happened to all the rest? I think I used to buy a Tomlyn one. This Vetericyn wash does fine, though. My cat had an inner eyelid scratch and I used this before using terramycin. He didn't like having a liquid squirted in his eye, but I held him tight and he lived. Repeatedly washing eyes with injuries is good, but I ended up using the terramycin to insure the injury would heal.

This really helped clear up an issue we were having with my girl's eye. It stopped the buildup in her eye and got rid of the early stages of staining on the hair around her eye. I highly recommend this product. Fast delivery and great customer service.

Our 13 year old pug (Mongo) has dry eye. Between the Vetericyn Eye Wash and the Vetericyn Plus Antimicrobial Ophthalmic Gel, his eye color has returned. Mongo loves Vetericyn (and Sheriff Bart).

My hound mix gets summer allergies. His eyes get red and he scratches at his eyes with his paws. I use this rinse with his allergy meds. Benadryl or Apoquel depending on the season. are lifesavers. He sits patiently with his head up for these drops to relieve his eyes. Other eye rinses he and my other dog won’t sit still for, these they know it works and they wait for it patiently.

My hound dog gets thick discharge in her eye-- probably allergy related. I shoot some of this stuff in her eye along with the antimicrobial eye gel drops and they really seem to help bring her relief as well as clear up the discharge. I did try using these two products for a case of conjunctivitis, however, and while it did help a lot it did not clear up the infection. We still needed and Rx for that one, but I still highly recommend these products to help bring relief for eye irritation and I will always keep it on hand!

This works great for our Pom-chi! She suffers from allergies and is constantly getting hair in her eyes so this is perfect to help cleanse and relief her of the itchy eyes from allergies!

I suggest this or saline to wash dogs eyes out to prevent irritation from dirt, allergies and dry climates followed up with eye lube.

I have to use the wipes with this product. Otherwise it's OK. We'll see how long it takes to make a difference, or if it will.

Gently removed dried-on eye gunk. My dog has allergies and his eyes tear and discharge overnight or after long naps. My guy wakes up sometimes with eyes almost stuck together with hard, dry eye gunk. Vetericyn worked to easily to gently remove the dried gunk from around his eyes. I put it on a tissue, gently put on the areas, and in a few minutes, I use a damp washcloth to remove the gunk. I tried several other washes and they were good for rinsing the eyes; this brand is good for removing buildup.
