I really only needed maybe 1-3 of these, but it does work well for cats that you can't get to take pills via another method (cough cough, Jelly). I could do with an overall shorter pill shooter; my hands are just not that big, and reaching the plunger sometimes results in fumbling it while trying to pill a cat.

Incredibly easy to use for my cats

Piller has a split rubber tip that will hold even small pills. I tilt Cherise's head back, slip the rubber tip to the back of her tongue, and push the little plunger

Piller has a split rubber tip that will hold even small pills. I tilt Cherise's head back, slip the rubber tip to the back of her tongue, and push the little plunger gently. I give her a little water with a children's plastic dropper, and we are done. Takes about 10 seconds to do, and she doesn't mind a bit, which is a miracle. Is so much easier that stuffing them in with a finger. I pet her, she purrs, and we are done until tomorow.

Our beloved Sweety Girl had major leg surgery and it was very difficult to give her meds as she would sift them out of whatever we tried to sneak them in with. The Vet recommended trying these so we did and they have saved a lot of stress on the dog and us.It literally injects the pill down her throat, then give a treat to wash it down. Just remember to go easy, just go in past the back of the tongue, push the plunger and that's it.give a reward, praise, and plenty of love.

I can’t say my cat loves it but it gets the job done

My cat stopped accepting pill pockets and this style came recommended. It’s a bit hard to keep the tinier quarter pills that are sometimes appropriate for cats in

This product is no help. I'm not sure what size pills would fit, but a pill roughly the size of half a zyrtec does not - it's too big. It gets stuck and if you do manage to get it to the rubber end it just sits there.

just what I needed

While I did not need all 12 pet pillers, it's nice to have extra, my cat needs a pill every day for heart disease. I use the tuna cat treat to put over the top

While I did not need all 12 pet pillers, it's nice to have extra, my cat needs a pill every day for heart disease. I use the tuna cat treat to put over the top of the piller to help dispense the meds. Now I have extra for when we need to board him. Easy to clean and use. Highly recommend, works great for me. Chip has mane coon in him, he's a decent size cat but he's not a full breed.

Ease of use

A must have for cats! I have used these for years and found the easiest way to get meds in cats. Also much easier than trying to get liquid meds in them.

So easy to use and dogs love it

I was covering dog pills in peanut butter for three dogs. Quite messy and would get all over their mouths and chins. I can cover all their pills now before I give

I was covering dog pills in peanut butter for three dogs. Quite messy and would get all over their mouths and chins. I can cover all their pills now before I give them to them. Capsules and hewable pills go down so easily for my dog with only 3 teeth. They love the taste. I love nothing to clean up.

These are good for medium or larger pill, smaller stuff and 1/2 pills fall out

It's easy to use and works great for the medium and larger pills. I was able to load a 1/2 pill before the medium and it held in place. But just smaller stuff falls

It's easy to use and works great for the medium and larger pills. I was able to load a 1/2 pill before the medium and it held in place. But just smaller stuff falls out, you can still use it to get stuff in the cats mouth, just have to be careful tipping it in. Has saved my fingers from being bitten. I can get it in and out faster than a finger, and since its smaller my cat doesn't act as betrayed. Wish I could've bought fewer, won't need 12, so I've given some away.

Sad it didn’t help

It did not make it any easier to get my cat to take and swallow her medicine. She gagged it back up and still fought me to close her mouth.
