Instructions
  • For pets new to brushing, using the Enzadent finger brush may be a more readily-accepted starter method initially. This method will help your pet become familiar with your hands in and near their mouth area. Once your pet is accustomed to the teeth brushing, graduate to the dual-ended toothbrush for optimum results.
  • Apply a small amount of Enzadent toothpaste onto the brush. Gently, lift the lip exposing the teeth. In a circular motion, brush along the gumline. Brush only a few teeth the first time and increase the amount each time you brush as your pet becomes more familiar with the process.

NOTE: Your veterinarian may give you specific instructions. Follow this professional advice closely.

  • Great taste

    By on

I was pleasantly surprised that not only both my dogs but also my extremely picky cat love the taste! It makes it a lot easier from them to be accepting and cooperative with having their teeth brushed when they think the toothpaste is a treat! We haven't been using it long enough to determine how effective it is yet.

  • Cats like it!

I can't attest to it's effectiveness yet as we've only been using it a short time, but this was recommended by our vet as one of our formerly feral cats had severe gingivitis and lost a number of teeth. I had used a spray on his gums, which helped a lot, but he didn't like it. Brushing his teeth is made easier because he really likes chicken flavor of this toothpaste. Good stuff so far.

  • Vetoquinol is a necessity for any animal owner!

    By on

After a very expensive dental surgical procedure for my cat Tyler, the Vet recommended that I brush his teeth to prevent further problems. I highly recommend this item because the brush applicator makes it very easy to brush and massage the gums. Had I known in the past, I could have saved my animal pain and suffering and myself a huge vet bill.

  • Yummmmmmmm

My 6 month old kitten and puppy both love this toothpaste and come running when I pull it out. It seems to make toothbrushing somewhat tolerable. Poultry flavor doesn’t necessarily make their breath smell clean but I trust it’s doing the trick.

My 7 month old pup loves the flavor of the paste and gets easier to brush each time. Do better with the finger brush right now.

  • My cat likes this brand

The flavor must be awesome for my little kitten. He isn't a fan of having his teeth brushed but he does like the flavor of the toothpaste. It will take time to get him use to it but at least he likes how it tastes.

  • Cat tooth brush set

Since my cats have never used a brush, I'm taking it slow. First I let them smell the finger brush. Next I rubbed the outside of the teeth area with it. Then I added some paste & let them smell/lick. They are just ok with it so far. Next I tried the small end of the brush. They actually started biting it & let me move slightly to the side of the teeth area. I'm going to keep doing this until they are really comfortable with the brush so I can actually get inside to brush their teeth well. It's a start but I'm going to keep working on it.
