My kittens came with fleas and too young to treat except baths. This flea spray was used to kill any fleas in the bedding and house furnishings. Eventually to use on older kittens. Then Rx flea meds were appropriate. Spray was very effective.

I’ve used this spray and it kills alive fleas within seconds. It really helps especially being able to go on your pet itself to reduce the fleas. I will say it doesn’t seem to do anything to flea larvae or eggs so it’s a good thing to have but doesn’t prevent the baby fleas. As well as it’s not a residual flea repellent. You do have to use it multiple times a day if you were to actually have a problem with flea infestation. This product is best if you were to have a few fleas you picked up from outside. I wish they were sold in bigger containers since I use this spray so often I run out too quick. Overall, great product will keep buying it.

I was honestly skeptical at first, but this Vets Best Flea Tick Spray turned out to be a pleasant surprise. I’ve tried so many flea sprays that either smell awful or make my cats run for cover. This one actually smells nice kind of a light cotton and spice scent that doesn’t overwhelm the house. I have two cats both short haired and one of them tends to pick up fleas every summer. I followed the directions and sprayed a light mist on their bedding, rugs, and even around baseboards. Within a few days, I noticed way less scratching and no fleas when I combed them. It’s also a huge plus that I can use the same spray safely on their bedding and the furniture makes cleaning so much easier. The bottle sprays evenly and the scent doesn’t linger too long, which I appreciate. I like that it’s made with natural oils instead of harsh chemicals, so I don’t worry about using it inside the house. If you have a mild flea problem or just want to stay ahead of the season, this is a great option. It probably won’t replace a vet grade treatment for a major infestation, but for maintenance, its perfect. Ill definitely keep this on hand and order the 2pack next time since I went through the first bottle faster than expected.

When our cat got fleas, the whole house did. I couldn't have professional pesticide treatment of the house interior because we have an elderly family member who can't be moved. So we vacuumed well, laundered everything we could, and used this spray everywhere.

Of course Buddy not crazy about it. I dabbed a bit on his fur and sprayed his beds and carpet. He seemed to avoid his beds after. Reluctant to keep using on him but re-sprayed carpet several times. Fall brings about and influx sometimes but usually resolves towards winter so not sure if the spray actually helped but thinking it probably did. Just took a few repeated attempts. Couldn't hurt to try anyway!

Love the product. It has a very light scent, but I barely smelled anything, when I sprayed (& I used a lot, cause I had a bug issue). If it's safe enough to spray ON the pet (cat), safe enough to spray around them. I didn't use it directly on my pets. But on furniture, fabrics, etc., rather. It kills all stages of fleas (that's the issue we may have had), which is great (some products dont address all stages), and I really think it helped us nip the problem in the butt.

So we live in an area that has a high concentration of ticks. Our dog is on a preventative but he still brings live ticks inside the house. I wanted to protect our inside cats and not use a pesticide. Vets Best smells nice and the cats don't seem to mind me wiping it on them, and it's easy to spray furniture where the dog sleeps. So far, no ticks on our cats and that has me sleeping better

I don't know what to think of this product as a bug killer. No bug seemed to respond in anyway immediately to the spray. I live in the country full of bugs. It also comes out smelling like pot roast, and after a minute I realized that the main ingredient is red pepper, which means my cats won't go anywhere near it. My legs stung and turned scarlet red immediately (within 30 seconds) from the pepper. My feet continue to sting from walking on the sprayed rugs. I might consider this product as an outdoor bug product because many plant eating bugs won't go near red pepper. Neither will most deer, rabbits, and other garden plant eaters, but not all. When I shake cayenne pepper on my outdoor plants, only some bugs avoid my garden. Some leaves still get eaten, so I just don't think this product will work for me inside or outside. As is, I miss the Hartz brand.
