Wagner's Midwest Regional Blend Deluxe Wild Bird Food, 20-lb bag

We haven't been using it for very long, so I'm going to wait a while to get the full reaction from the birds and other folk - squirrels, chipmunks, possums, raccoons, occasional skunks,....You get the idea. Our property is chemical-free and provides water and some shelter as well as some food. Plants and insects also are on the menu.

I live in Central, IL and have purchased this food for years. The birds have always absolutely loved it until the recent 2 bags I purchased at the same time. They appear to have had far more Milo in them; approximately 1/3 or more of each bag. Most of that doesn't get eaten and gets thrown away which of course is not good for the birds or me. I do have a 3rd bag that I placed with a more recent order. Since I haven't opened that one yet, the verdict is still out. Perhaps it'll be fine, and there was an error at the manufacturing plant which involved the other 2. Regardless, I've decided I'm going to try the Kaytee Midwest Regional Wild Bird food moving forward. It does not contain milo. It's a bit more expensive but actually cheaper if all of the waste/potential waste is considered from the Wagner's. Also, worth note is the fact that I contacted Chewy regarding this situation; and as always they provided me with exceptional customer service. Go Chewy!!! :)

I ordered 2 bags of this. Came to find out they had weevils in them! I was given a refund and was sent 2 more bags. Those also had weevils!! Will never consider buying bird seed off of chewy again.
