Wagner's Always The First

Always The First

As an industry trailblazer, Wagner's has had many firsts. They were the first company over 80 years ago to sell a bird seed for year-round feeding. Before that, bird feeding was just a winter activity to give wild birds the energy they needed to survive the winter. They've also been the first to market black oil sunflower seed, regional blends, and deluxe and premium bird foods.

About Wagner's

As the oldest and largest privately owned wild bird food company in the USA, Wagner's has been helping bird enthusiasts attract wild birds to their backyards since 1894. With special blends of high-quality, fresh ingredients, their seed mixes have become time-tested favorites for all types of birds across America. They produce many different wild bird foods that are developed to give your feathered friends more of the seeds they love, making your feeders come alive with beautiful songbirds.

    normally good BUTT=

By Smitty on Dec 31, 2020

I have been a fan of wagner bird food but this year I have been not impressed with the lack of good seed and instead over 50 % cracked corn. Chickens would like it but small bird do not.

    Great Birdseed

By Odee on Apr 19, 2020

Can't get out so Chewy was a good choice. We are very pleased with the quality of the seed we ordered. The birds (and our squirrely friends) love it too. We'll be ordering again.

not what I had hoped for

By consumer on Apr 6, 2020

This bird food mix is mostly small seeds and chafe. Was hopeful that is was more substantial but the birds are eating it. Would not recommend or buy again.

    Disappointed

By MPTJR on Jun 8, 2019

The Midwest blend seemed to be the answer to my search for "no waste" bird seed. However, much of the seed is scattered on the ground or left in the feeder (flat pan feeders). It would seem that "midwest blend" is a misnomer as it doesn't hold true in Wisconsin.
