do you have to hold the button down when use?
Answer by ChewySep 16, 2021
To use laser pointer, press the switch on the side of the device to activate. The first position activates the flashlight, the second activates the blacklight, and the third activates the laser.

Does it come with a usb charging cable?
Answer by ChewyMar 22, 2022
The laser pointer does not come with a USB port for charging. To recharge the laser pointer, remove the cap containing the USB connector and plug the laser pointer directly into a USB port for charging.

Won’t hold charge

Arrived uncharged, so it was left charging for 1.5 hours (little red indicator light turns on), during that time all the light settings would work. But as soon as it was taken off the charging block, it won’t work. It was then left charging overnight, 8 hours, and the same thing happened. So its useless to me and my furrbabies. Save some money and just buy the battery powered ones that work.

Why didn't I know about this before

I've been buying the dollar store laser pointers that last just so long and need to toss out and get another. Then a friend told me about this laser pointer and while, yes, it's more expensive than other ones, it comes out cheaper cause there's no batteries to purchase and don't need to continually replace the toy. Charges quickly and easily and the cats love chasing this!

Great Product

This laser pointer by Litterbox! has many great things about it...it is easily rechargeable in a USB port, which is a definite plus; it has three light options, including a flashlight; and best of all, my cat loves it! In fact, he can hear when I get it out of the drawer and turn it on and comes running!

Wouldn't recharge

I was excited to use this product and even more excited it was rechargeable. Unfortunately after only a month of use it ni longer would hold a charge and does not work. I may have gotten a dud but am very unhappy about thr failure of the product. It was only used for its intended purpose of entertaining my cat and was put away every time we were finished.

A Game Changer for our Cats!

Our cats love chasing bugs, so we got this toy hoping they'd like it, and it has been a fantastic way to get our heavier cat to be active again! Not totally sure why it has a flashlight and blacklight function, but no complaints on extra features. My favorite part is that it is rechargeable, so no need for wasteful and expensive batteries!

Laser Pointer Cat Toy

In the past we had other laser pointer cat toys and this particular laser pointer by Whisker is the best pointer so far. We really like the built-in USB port for convenient use without replacing batteries. We hope this laser we us many good years of fun to our kitties. Thank you.

Best idea ever!

It's about time someone came up with a rechargable laser light...or maybe I just hadn't been looking for one until now. Anyway, just put it in a USB charger for a bit and it lasts forever! I like the handy flashlight feature too since I'm constantly looking for cat and dog toys under furniture. The other reviews about the laser light being restricted because of the button location have not manifested for me. It's just fine. Love it. Better for the environment too, no batteries to replace!

Rechargeabale! laser pointer

I have been buying laser pointers at the dollar store (so many of them!), but replacement batteries are nowhere to be found! This is the answer! `I was happy to get two of them on sale. So easy to plug in, and it seems to charge pretty quickly. Very happy with my purchase.

Yes to all the things

Laser is great because you don't have to hold a button down to turn it on. Flashlight great for finding lost toys. Black light is great for spotting pee spots, if you ever need it for that. Initially interested in this laser because rechargeable (others would die very quickly).

my cat loves!

Buying a laser for my cat was the best idea! I can just sit on the couch and watch him chase it. He will run after a laser even when he won’t play with any other toy. Not all cats will chase a laser though. I do like the rechargeable battery. I haven’t had to charge it yet so I am not sure of how long the battery life is. We’ve used it for probably a few hours total though. Personally I don’t think it needs the 2 other lights and I would have bought a simpler one a press button if I could have found one.
