Would not recommend
Two problems with larger dose, first there is much too much liquid to safely apply to any size cat. It would drip everywhere and be hazardous to the cat. ( Also, is it safe to double up on this med, I’d rather not you pets health.) Second, the tube does not have a cap that closes or is removable like other Advantage treatments. As I attempted to unscrew the cap it emptied the medicine all over my bare hand! I spent a half hour scrubbing it off with soap and cold water. Unfortunely Iwas only able to apply three drops of this very expensive treatment to my poor cat.
Stick with monthly doses for effective treatments, sorry I purchased this product.

Two Month Advantage
This flea product has been recommended by my vet, so I've used it over the years for my cats. I like the fact that I can get it for a two-month duration per application. I'm trying this for the first time. My cat is just barely over 9 lbs, so I was wondering if I should do the under-or-over 9 lbs product (I got the 9+). I found the medication to be easy to use, but was very "drippy" compared to my last time using it for a monthly application. I applied as directed, but it dribbled down its neck and back, a bit problematic to keep it from licking it. Possibly there is more in the tube for a 2 month application? Everything turned out ok for the cat, but was messier than I remembered.

Highly Advise Against
I thought I’d be saving a few bucks by using this versus what my vet offers. That was a mistake.
This caused bald patches on my cats after a couple days and immediately upon application, it made them lethargic and their gums pale.
I can see this easily killing a cat if they are sensitive enough. This is NOT worth the price.

Advantage large cat treatment
This is the only product I will use on my cat personally. Out of all of the stuff to protect him from fleas and ticks, this is the only thing that really work’s especially because we live in the middle of the woods.

AMAZING
I have tried several high priced products on my 3 pets, with no success. The fleas were horrible this year! Overall, it was a tad messy, but OMG! Within 4 hours, the fleas were literally falling off my cats, dead!! I will be keeping this product stocked. Not to mention, Chewy had it on my door step in less than 48 hours!!
