Too much liquid

I always buy the one month Andvantage II, so when I saw this and it was for two months and was cheaper than buying two months of Advantage II I figured I'd get this

I always buy the one month Andvantage II, so when I saw this and it was for two months and was cheaper than buying two months of Advantage II I figured I'd get this. It works just fine for fleas, it's still Advantage after all, but the problem I have with it is it's twice as much liquid at one time. I thought it would be a stronger product, but it seems like it's the same amount of fluid as it would be if you put two tubes of the monthly product on at one time, for a small cat it's just too much. It ran down their sides and their backs while I'm trying to hold them still so it doesn't run completely off of them. I put it on three days ago and my cats are still wet looking and sticky everywhere the fluid went. If you have a large dog this would probably be fine, but I would not recommend for cats.

THEY COULDN'T GROOM THEMSELVES. THE PRODUCT LEAVES BEHIND A DRY FLOURY RESIDUE LIKE DRY SHAMPOO. NOT RECOMMENDED!! STICK WITH ADVANTAGE 2 FOR CATS! ITS NOT WORTH THE STRESS AND WORRY OVER SEEING YOUR CAT SICK!!!

What a shame to spend so much $$ and not even get any protection when we should have gotten 2 months worths. Chewy I know you aren’t responsible but it’s not promoted as promised.

It worked!

I had purchased a different flea medication for my cats, it didn't work. I purchased Advantage XD and now my cats have stopped scratching and licking all the time

did not like the oily texture of this stuff. their fun was oily and yet crunchy to their fun . I left it go for a few days and them I brushed them fore several day

I left it go for a few days and them I brushed them fore several day to get their fun to feel like fur again. will not be purchasing this again. it did kill fleas as best as we can tell but it ran down them where they could have reached it when grooming not impressed.

The product definitely works well for fleas, but there’s a lot more liquid to apply than the one month Advantage II It tends to run a bit, the added wetness was more upsetting to my more sensitive babies and my two longer coated cats , Molly and Puca get mats in their fur at the application site, especially Puca who is a ragdoll It isn’t a bad product, but since my babies are indoor only except for their enclosed outdoor condo I have no worry about ticks so I think I’ll switch back to the Advantage II
