The comfy cone is just that. It is made well, holds up for years with daily use and it great for not allowing pets to reach their hind quarters. Our Bully has severe allergies and licks his paws, scratches his ears and chin and the comfy cone protects him while alllowing him to drink from his water bowl (when on the floor with space around it...), to lay down and not to get anxious or stressed when wearing it and bumping into anything. It is durable, made well, reflective and has nice velcro, plus is washable. We use ours daily & only buy this product. Only drawback is some pets can get to their front paws while wearing it, depending on their body shape. It's a lifesaver for our Santana! SO glad the creator made these.

However, the huge exposed area of velcro became a problem. If she laid down with that section down, it would velcro itself to the rug or the bath mat. She got used to getting herself free, but I was always having to put the rug back after she dragged it a few feet. There has got to be a better way to set the size.

This cone seems to be high quality and it’s easy to put on and take off. It is a bit more flexible than some of the plastic options but it is much longer and looks like a satellite on my dog’s head. It’s a great choice for an eye injury that needs to be protected really well. Unfortunately, I hadn’t considered that the solid black material would eliminate peripheral vision and Norma was scared of it. She’ll easily allow me to put her clear cone on but runs away if I attempt to put this one on her.

Best cone we’ve ever used!

This cone worked so well for us. Our golden, Sammy had to have an eye removed due to Pigmentary Uveitis. He needed to wear a cone for 2 weeks. We used the big plastic

This cone worked so well for us. Our golden, Sammy had to have an eye removed due to Pigmentary Uveitis. He needed to wear a cone for 2 weeks. We used the big plastic one for one day. I was so happy when this one arrived from Chewy. The Comfy Cone was much easier for Sammy to navigate in, without banging into doorways, furniture and us. It was the perfect length to keep him from scratching his eye with his back foot. He was able to get his foot around to try and scratch but the cone protected his eye perfectly. I kept the stays in for the first week to add more structure but took them out the second week. He was able to eat, drink, and sleep in the cone with and without the stays with no issue. Highly recommend!!

Comfy, but doesn't work.

The cone is comfortable and i love that my dog doesn't bang the plastic cone on all the furniture. Maybe he is too smart but he figured out how to fold that cone

The cone is comfortable and i love that my dog doesn't bang the plastic cone on all the furniture. Maybe he is too smart but he figured out how to fold that cone back and lick away at the spot on his leg. Also the dog hair gets in the velcro and it doesnt work well after a few days. Hate to be negative!

Very difficult to adjust. The opening for the neck is very tight. You have to velcro the collar at an jaunty angle to avoid choking your dog. The velcro is super strong. Way better than the hard plastic cones. Once you get it adjusted properly it's a great product. My dog is 85 lb lab mix. I purchased the large size. I probably should have gone up another size.

Our puppy is very accepting of the Comfy Cone when I place it on him and can navigate his crate comfortably without any fuss. Many other cones have plastic windows that eventually bend and then they crack leaving jagged plastic that is unsafe when crating overnight. I was amazed to receive it overnight, just when I needed it.
