“sturdy and solid. I took a chance on this metal scooper because my plastic ones always feel like they are going to snap in half when I'm trying to scoop. I'm very impressed and may buy another. The handle is easy to grip, and it doesn't feel like it will bend or break under heavy use. The holes are smaller than I'm used to, but it just take a second to shake the extra litter out, and it doesn't drop as many pieces. I'm very pleased with this purchase.”

“Not a better idea. This scoop is heavy duty and ergonomically wonderful BUT the edge of the scoop is too thick and rounded and doesn’t efficiently dislodge and remove the clumping kitty litter that kind of sticks to the front and back of the litter box. The clumps consistently crumble apart and remain in the box causing a stench too soon. The engineering is all wrong! If your kitties urinate close to the walls, don’t get this one.”

“Pricy for a plastic scoop, but.... it is very sturdy, made of heavy duty plastic. It also has holes that are large enough to use with Oko-Cat wood litter. All of our other scoops, including the metal ones, have slots too narrow to sift the large bits of wood stuff. I think this would work with pellets, too, like pine or the paper ones. I just ordered two more, as we have boxes in several rooms, and this will be handy.”

“Best Scoop Ever. After years of using plastic scoops, I decided to try this one. It works SO WELL! It is designed to withstand more rugged use and does not bend or cave in. The handle is engineered well and allows maximum use and force. Everything on the scoop slides right off leaving no residue. I battle arthritis in my hands, but have found the right tool. The only issue I have is that the colored grip/handle twists around the metal shank, so I plan to secure it with a strong glue. Highly recommend!!! 10/10”

“Bad Handle. After a little less than a year, the handle broke. The handle is comfortable, but it turns out that the metal only runs maybe a quarter of the way through the handle. The handle started to flex a bit after 6 months or so and it just got worse from there until it snapped off.”

“You need this scoop if you use an alternative litter!!!!!!. If you use a saw dust type litter such as the Tidy Cat's Pure Nature that I use, this is the perfect scoop! Traditional scoops wouldn't allow the clean litter to sift back into the box, but the larger openings in this scoop pick up what it should and not what it shouldn't without all the sifting that would break apart the soft clumps this kind of litter forms. The handle is well made, easy to hold. I can't attest to its use with clay litter, but with a pine type litter, it's perfect!”
