Bravecto is the only flea and tick treatment to last 12 weeks* with one convenient chew or topical dose. That means nearly 3X longer lasting protection than common monthly treatments. The long-lasting efficacy breaks the flea life cycle and drives fleas into extinction with one dose. And, Bravecto kills ticks faster, killing 100% of attached ticks in 12 hours – whereas other treatments can take over 48 hours.
Your cat doesn't need to go outside to be at risk for fleas and ticks. Cats can be exposed to fleas and ticks from dogs within the household. However, even cats without dog siblings can be at risk. You can carry fleas inside on your clothes and shoes – and the larvae and pupae can hide within your home for weeks before hopping on your cat. If you live in an apartment complex, fleas can move from one apartment to the next. And, certain ticks are now known to survive indoors throughout their lifecycles, so they can come in with you from outside, and hang around to attach to your pet.
After you give your pet Bravecto, it quickly reaches tissue fluids just under your dog's or cat's skin. When fleas and ticks feed, they ingest Bravecto and die. Bravecto Topical Solution for Cats kills 100% of fleas within 8 hours. Apply Bravecto Topical Solution for Cats to the base of the skull for full-body protection for 12 weeks. Bravecto Topical Solution for Cats kills fleas, prevents flea infestations, and kills ticks (black-legged tick) for 12 weeks. Bravecto Topical Solution for Cats also kills American dog ticks for 8 weeks.
There are no problems reported in field trials in dogs and cats that received Bravecto alongside other commonly used medicines. However, your veterinarian is your pet's health care expert, so it is always best to discuss all of your pet's treatments with them, whether prescription or over-the-counter supplements.

For years I treated my cat regularly with Advantage topical prescription drops for fleas but he still scratched frequently and had flea allergy scabs on his rump skin, though I never saw a flea on him. (He's on a limited ingredient diet that stopped his farts and diarrhea.). I'm so glad a vet talked me into trying Bravecto for his skin; the change in my cat was fantastic! He scratches far less often and his skin healed quickly! I'll keep him on Bravecto his whole life.
Vet recommended Bravecto, as the old Advantage just wasn't doing the job. So happy our kitties aren't scratching any more and we no longer have to use the flea comb!
My 2 cats are indoor only. I put them at a cat resort when I went on vacation and then they had fleas. I tried everything over the counter and nothing worked. My cats were being eaten alive. So I finally tried Bravecto. I got it today at around 3pm and immediately treated my cats. It's now 8pm and there are dead fleas on my cats fur. He's white so I can see them and have been brushing them out of his fur. He feels so much better now and he's finally able to sleep. Thank you Bravecto. I wish I had not wasted all that money on OTC remedies that didn't work!
Bravecto has worked great on my indoor/outdoor cat here in Texas. It's so nice not having to apply it monthly like other topical flea meds. Every 3 months is easier on me and my cat and she's never had a flea on her. And BTW, I love Chewy! During these supply chain issues, they've been a godsend.
We went through numerous products before finally getting Bravecto with a prescription. Were able to send script to Chewy.
I've used this before on my cat when we go to Fl and my cat is on the lanai. It works I guess.
this product is not only messy during application - even days after applying my cats hair is a matted, sticky disaster. I've tried cat shampoo, dish soap, and detergent. it won't come out. poor guy. will definitely go back to using revolution.
This company prides itself in a great selection of quality products at reasonable prices. Their customer service is also excellent.
You should sell this as super glue instead! Nasty for cats! Will never buy this again!
This medicine lasts 90 days and it's amazing. Available only by prescription.
