Brown's Encore Classic Cockatiel Food, 4-lb bag

I think this is acceptable bird food but my cockatiels tend to cast out most of the seed onto the cage floor no matter what I buy. I throw what they do not eat out to the wild birds and they love it. I would like to find a food they do not waste so much of. Any suggestions?

Brown's Encore Classic is the only seed mix that my Cockatiels will eat. What is really good, is that it is "all natural" without any artificial food dyes. This classic formula contains all the seeds my birds love along with undyed pellets. When I feed it along with fresh fruits and vegetables, I know they are receiving well-balanced nutrition.

I was buying cockatiel food mix in a local store. He was only eating half of what was in the mix. Since I started ordering cat food from Chewy I decided to try something here. Not a lot of choices locally. He eats all of it! I feel like I'm getting my money's worth.

After reading the reviews on this Cockatiel bird food and how everyone's birds were loving it, I thought I'd give it a try with my two. When I opened the bag it smelled so fresh and appealing I though there was no way they won't enjoy it. They did to an extent, but being as picky as they are the majority in the bowl was left, they refused to eat the remaining even when I cleaned the seed coats out. My two are extremely picky not even eating fresh fruits or veg's, they are rescues so I 'm assuming they were feed one thing and that's what they prefer picking out. Their not eating all of the ingredients has nothing to do with Encore's products or Chewy. The wild birds are loving it !!
