Half hour after getting the Capstar tabs into two lionheads and a Holland lop, dead fleas covered the pee pad in my lap. The bunnies had no bad reaction. The only problem was getting them to swallow the tabs and not spit them out... Not easy. Finally used a Popsicle stick with a crystallized raw honey ball on the end in which I pushed the small tab inside. Then carefully inserted in the side of their mouth and pushed in without hurting them. One took it easy. Even chewed it up. Another after a couple of times pushing back in with the stick swallowed it. The third it took ten minutes, more honey and alot of patience. So if you can get the small white tab in them, it works. It could be crushed in juice then given by syringe. These tabs are too expensive to be spit out and lose at $10 a pop but they do work well on buns. Also used on two Doodles... One 15 lbs and one 21 lbs. Worked okay on them but not quite as fast and complete. The problem is it kills the adult fleas fast but not the eggs and it only lasts 24 to 48 hours. So need to keep diligent and keep on using til every flea gone. Can take months. I added diatomaceous earth after giving them the Capstar tabs powdering them up with DE. This will kill new young fleas but the powdering needs to be done daily.

I bought this for a stray that was covered in fleas. I managed to put it in her food because I can't get her and it worked. However I think this has some sort of foul taste or smell or something because after the second dose she stopped eating her food completely. She either eats a little bit or none at all and will not touch the food all day until I change it but with the last 4 doses it seems like she could smell it because she again refused her food. I give it 3 because it did work when she did take it. The fleas dropped off and died but after that and not eating the medicine she now has lots of fleas again.

I mean I had literally tried so many things guaranteed natural remedies other flea sprays etc and nothing would work I even got flea collars and they didn't work! Like within 20 minutes fleas start falling off of them. By the next day they had stopped scratching and within a day or two all of the bite scabs had healed! This product is truly a godsend and I will purchase it in the future for such issues!

The pills themselves might be working?? Its hard to tell. I only got 6 tablets instead of the 12 that I ordered, reached out to customer service and they didn't do anything about it unless I sent the entire thing back after I have given my pets their first dose. They came in two separate 6 packs they could've just sent me another. Im really disappointed in chewys flea products. Been buying different ones for months and still haven't been able to get rid of them on my boys. :(

This is the only medication I’ve used that I’ve seen actually kill fleas. I received this today, two days after ordering it; I love that Chewy is quick with shipping! I gave Ayla a pill after opening the package, fed her a treat and some food, then she laid down on the bed to take a nap. Thankfully my bedsheets aren’t black or else I wouldn’t have noticed, but when she got up there were dying fleas where she had been laying. Even after 3 hours I was still finding dying fleas or fleas fleeing from her fur onto my bedsheets. I do see there being some downside to using this as it won’t instantly kill all the fleas. They jump off of your pets body and could easily infest your home. I’ve dealt with a really bad flea infestation before, so I know I have to be around to kill the escaping fleas and get rid of them for good. I will give her another pill in two days and then give her a bath the day after the second pill. Capstar has been the only flea medication that has worked for me and is pretty affordable. I’ve given Bravecto by two different vets before and it did nothing. I recommend Capstar over Bravecto!

2 neglected cats figured I was a better human to manipulate and they came with lots and lots of fleas poor babies. They were suffering and these got rid of the fleas so they can heal. Way more effective than topical control. Great for people living in areas with limited vet access like me. Worked; tiny pill.

My poor cat was suffering with fleas. I needed a solution fast. I order this product and received it with 4 days. The product is excellent for killing adult fleas and giving your pet instant relief. It's great as an additional treatment to use with the topical treatment. My cat, who is aging and underweight tolerated both treatments well.
