Caused irritation and hair loss

Three days after applying Onguard, I noticed hair loss and irritated skin on one of my cats at the application site. I've never had an issue using other topical flea meds, like Revolution. I will absolutely not be purchasing this product again.

On guard was off

I bought 4 of the 6 ok of Onguard for cats cause I have 21 fur babies. Well unfortunately this product DID NOT hold up to what it says. All my cats still have fleas so I will be spending more money on a better product. Beware ~ product did not work ~ at all !!!

Best immediate meds

I bought this because my topical and flea collar still not working as well. I gave each of my 4 one of these pills and within 10 to 15 mins I could tell it was working...my cats were picking and scratching...then within an hour done.....I have not seen a flea and no picking or scratching...best thing I've used by far. Thank you chewy!!!!

Cat Products

Lots of choices. Always kept in the loop of deliveries. Good products. Having things delivered is so much easier than buying heavy items and getting it home. Especially for an older person (me).

Just does nothing

I put this on my cats (and the dog formula on my dog) for two months and it was a waste of money and time. Unfortunate, because I trusted Chewy. Going to have to spend more for something that works.

Doesnt seem to work very well

You asked so I will tell you. I am trying to find a topical flea medicine that is reasonably priced that will work. I have tried Frontline Plus & it didnt work, so gave this a try, it isnt working either! I have 4 cats that I put topical flea medicine on & I need to find something that works besides Revolution ( which is the best but too expensive & need a prescription for.) Any other ones I should try? Thanks.

didn’t work

I used this on my pets for quite a few months and still fought with fleas. I just switched back to Frontline plus and within 24 hours my pets are soooo much less itchy. I feel guilty that they suffered with fleas for so long when I could have just spent the extra money for something that worked. Was hoping this would work considering that it’s more affordable. But you get what you pay for I suppose

It helped control our awful infestation!

We bought this stuff back in January and our cats have been on it ever since. It broke the flea cycle but you HAVE to take care of every part of your house. This stuff does it’s job on the cats but flea eggs still live in carpets and couches etc. I highly recommend this.

Onguard Plus

We have 3 cats, 2 longhair, one shorthair. The short-hair is the only one that had a reaction. He lost a circle of hair at the treatment site on the back of his neck. Neither of the other two had any reaction to it at all. Tossed the rest of the applications.

Onguard drops

As far as I can tell it's working I've only put it on him about 10 days ago. I see no flee eggs
