Chewy Turns Viral Dog Story Into Real-Life Homecomings for Lucky Shelter Pups

You may have seen the recent viral story about seven dogs in China who supposedly escaped a meat truck and journeyed home. Though the story ultimately proved to be embellished, the reality is that thousands of dogs in our own communities are still waiting for their chance to go home.
- Chewy has partnered with the Brady Hunter Foundation and Miami-Dade Animal Services to create a real-life “homeward bound” moment for seven lucky dogs with their own versions of that viral story and give them their own happy endings.
- Chewy is covering adoption fees and transportation for each dog and providing a full year’s worth of food (up to $1,000) to get them started in their new life.
