    Eats every last bite!

By jbed on Oct 7, 2021

My cat is super picky with his food. When we found out he had allergies, I switched to novel protein sources. Tried instinct brand and he wouldn’t touch it, no matter the protein. This food he ate every last bit! He prefers fully minced or pate, so I just mash it up to make sure it’s to his liking. Will be buying again and trying new flavors!

    High quality products

By Farmina on Oct 30, 2021

Farmina never disappoints with their high quality products and the wild boar and apple is no different. Wasn’t sure if my cats were going to like this flavor as they’ve only had the fish flavors from Farmina but they gobbled it up!

    Fussy kitty won't touch this

By BethW on Sep 28, 2021

I really, really wanted kitty to like this. She has allergies and needs a single source protein so she doesn't react. This food is high quality and well-made but she just wouldn't touch it. We tried for three days and no luck.

Not at all what I expected.

By Kate on Jul 27, 2021

I feed Farmina dry food to my cats because of its quality, so after reading the reviews for this food I gave it a try. The first can I opened ( which wasn’t easy) the flip tab came off . When I got it opened the contents contained a large piece of gristle and a small amount of soft food. The gristle was so tough I had to cut it up with a knife. I wondered if they could even chew it. They did like the taste, one could chew up the tough stuff and the other 2 couldn’t. The cans are very small, and to feed them the right portion I had to use 2 cans apiece, and this is an expensive food. Some of the cans had less gristle but all cans had contained pieces. I really felt like it was a waste of money I feed Farmina dry food to my cats because of its quality, so after reading the reviews for this food I gave it a try. They like it

    By Kittymama on Aug 4, 2021 top1000Contributor

I was sent this boar and apple by mistake when I had ordered chicken and pomegranate. Chewy quickly sent out my replacement when I called to let them know. In the mean while, I decided to try the boar to see if they would eat it and they actually liked it better than the chicken. I have since reordered and added it to my auto ship. Farmina is one of the healthier foods, so I'm pleased I can add this new flavor to our rotation.

By Tony on Oct 19, 2021

Cat can't get enough! I have to scale back how much is given or mix in dry food so I can make the box last

Careful that not all cans are fresh

By cola on Jul 24, 2021

My cat used to like eating those cans. But last time I received this, 2~3 out of 12 cans were not fresh and very watery. You cannot even tell there is meat.

Never seen my 3 cats so OBSESSED with a cat food !!! Both Dry and wet

By xtinava on Apr 19, 2021

I have three 5/6 year old active adult neutered/spayed very picky cats (M-F-M) - Siamese/Tonkinese/Burmese. Had been feeding them Tender & True for years & wanted to switch to a higher protein content w/o chickpea flour, legumes such as lentils, etc & they are JUST CRAZED with the Wild Boar (2nd choice is Chicken/Pomegranate). They also liked the Lamb and tolerated most of the seafood ones (ate all the varieties but the obsession with the Wild Boar is over the top). Started them on Farmina early Dec 2020 at the recommendation of a super aficionado of all things cat & a definite cat foodie. I was intrigued as the food is sourced and manufactured in Italy (where I'm from originally & only too I have three 5/6 year old active adult neutered/spayed very picky cats (M-F-M) - Siamese/Tonkinese/Burmese. I was intrigued as the food is sourced and manufactured in Italy (where I'm from originally & only too familiar as to how well they treat/feed their cats - only the best will do). Quality control seems to be outstanding. Been feeding them the dry with a shared can of Wild Boar (EQUALLY OBSESSED) among the 3 of them per day & they are as happy and satisfied as can be. Plates licked clean not long after every single feeding. Their coats were already quite shiny & healthy on the Tender & True but they seem to really enjoy this food to the point of being obsessed - scampering, literally tripping over each other like puppies en route to their bowls in the kitchen to chow down. Best feeling for a pet parent. =). Farmina is CERTAINLY costly but I also find that they're filled up with less food than the Tender & True (wet/dry combo) so it's seeming to last a bit longer. Added note: not one of them has thrown up even once, had litter box issues (loose bowels, etc) either. Very happy customer & kitties!! … more

    Clean plates here

By catmom on Apr 27, 2021

All four of my cats love the boar and apple wet food and lick their plates clean. They also love the chicken and pomegranate dry. I even give it out as treats. The only downside is the cost of the wet food but, quality ingredients cost more.

    My picky kittens love this!

    By catlady1 on Mar 13, 2021

I was a little nervous about buying this as it’s a bit more pricey for less amount and considering my kittens are picky eaters, I was worried my money might be wasted. I opened a can to give them a try and they LOVED IT. The ingredients are natural and the food looks natural too. You can tell it’s real meat because I see my kittens really chewing it. They love it and I’m happy to have found this. Will be buying more from Farmina for sure.
