Is this mat chew proof?

This crate mat is resistant to light chewing. However, if your dog is left alone for long periods of time it may not withstand long persistent chew sessions or dogs who are determined to destroy their mat or bed.
My dog gets bored in the crate and likes to chew up crate mats. How will this withstand chewing if I leave my pup unattended while I'm at work?

My dog gets really hot during the night and doesn’t like soft fluffy beds that get hot, does this bed stay relatively cool?

This bed is made with a polyester and nylon blend, and it does not have any cooling features, so it would not heat or cool drastically overnight.

Great Mat

I was a little hesitant about this mat after seeing reviews saying it was too thin or too noisy. I haven't really noticed any distinct noise coming from it, and it has enough padding to it that the dog won't feel like it's laying on the floor. Our pup (aussie/pyrenees mix) loves the mat. He will willingly go into his crate now just to lay on the bed (assuming because it also keeps him cool!). May have to order another one just to have around the house for him.

Good deal!

This mat is nicer than I was expecting for the sale price I paid. What's even better is my dog likes it and hasn't tried chewing on it yet.

If this thing were thicker it would be perfect

Amazing crate mat for the price. My boy sometimes digs in his crate and he has not managed to puncture this mat yet. He doesn't try to eat his beds, so I can't speak to that. Because it's cheap, I don't listen to the cleaning instructions and I put the whole thing in the washer and dryer. It's kept its shape through a few washes already and doesn't seem negatively impacted. It would be pretty perfect if it were another inch or two thicker. I'm on here buying another one now to see how stacking them in the crate goes and thought I'd leave a review.

Satisfied!

I bought this mat after my one year old, Phinn, destroyed a fleece covered mat. This mat has durable material and appears to provide a much cooler experience than a fleece mat. I recommend this, especially if your pet gets hot quickly.

Duranle and Comfy but Loud Material

This mat has held up well in my XL dog’s crate. My only complaint is that the fabric is very noisy - almost like a windbreaker.
