Description

That fresh aroma of pine, it’s coming from your cat’s litter box! Yup, these non-clumping pellets are made with 100% natural pine and nothing else. They absorb liquids up to three times their weight so odors don’t stand a chance at lingering around the litter box. And there’s no covering up odors with artificial fragrances or chemicals. We just let that pine do its thing at naturally combating those offensive smells for a fresher box the natural way. It’s low dust for less mess and provides fragrance- and chemical-free odor control for sensitive kitties.

Key Benefits
  • All-natural cat litter is made with 100% pine, and has non-clumping pellets that combat odors without any chemicals or added fragrances.
  • Pine pellets absorb up to 3X their weight in liquids to help keep the litter box fresh and prevent lingering odors, with daily scooping.
  • Uses pine’s natural odor-protection power instead of just covering up odors with fancy fragrances.
  • It smells like pine because it is pine, with no fragrances, scents, chemicals, dyes or additives. Perfect for cats that are sensitive to other litters.
  • Dust-free for less mess and perfect for single or multi-cat homes.
Precautions

Always wash your hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter, as cat feces may contain Toxoplasma gondii—a parasite that can cause toxoplasmosis. Pregnant or nursing women, as well as children and anyone with a weakened immune system, should avoid handling used cat litter. Always handle litter in a ventilated area to avoid inhalation. Keep contents and packaging out of reach of children and pets. Seek medical help in case of accidental ingestion.

Transition Instructions

Some cats may require assistance in adjusting to a new litter. Begin with 1 inch of Frisco Litter covered with 2 inches of the previous litter product. Most casts will comfortably adjust to the new litter after 3 to 4 changes.

    Comes as saw dust

By Olivia on Oct 11, 2021

I ordered this because I usually use this type of litter but another brand. Normally the kind I get is pellets and when my cat uses it for his business it turns to saw dust that I then sift out. This product came as half saw dust before opening. It was very messy and was much more work for me. I do not recommend this product.

    so far so good

By cinderflower on Aug 29, 2021

the company that made the wood stove pellets i was using for cat litter went out of business so in the interim i ran out. i have used feline pine before, and it's a lot more expensive for the very same thing, and it's packed looser so i had to use more. so, it's not my first choice. it'll do. this is a pleasant surprise, because even though it's about four times as much as i was paying, it lasts longer than what i was using. so if you use pine litter, i recommend this stuff. i honestly am looking for a stove fuel replacement (it can't have additives, and i prefer that it be about $6 for 40 lbs., and i'd like to use the kind made from pine beetle felled pine trees from colorado that can't the company that made the wood stove pellets i was using for cat litter went out of business so in the interim i ran out. i have used feline pine before, and it's a lot more expensive for the very same thing, and it's packed looser so i had to use more. so, it's not my first choice. it'll do. this is a pleasant surprise, because even though it's about four times as much as i was paying, it lasts longer than what i was using. so if you use pine litter, i recommend this stuff. i honestly am looking for a stove fuel replacement (it can't have additives, and i prefer that it be about $6 for 40 lbs., and i'd like to use the kind made from pine beetle felled pine trees from colorado that can't be used for anything else) but this is okay. still more than i want to spend on litter. … more

Hands down, the best pine litter!

By Ragdollmama on Aug 2, 2021

This Frisco pine litter along with the arm & Hammer sifting pan are the best combo I've ever found for managing cat litter. The arm & Hammer pan has a little tray that fits into another pan. To clean the pan all you have to do is scoop out the solid waste, and shake the sifter back and forth. The dirty litter turns into dust and falls into the pan underneath. I keep the bottom pan tucked into a garbage bag, and when it's full of dirty litter, I just slide the bag off of the pan, tie it up and toss in the garbage, everything stays clean. It's a super easy, and tidy way to manage the cat pan, and aside from the solid waste which you can scoop out really quick, there is no smell with this litter This Frisco pine litter along with the arm & Hammer sifting pan are the best combo I've ever found for managing cat litter. I've tried the Frisco as well as a couple other brands, and I found that the pellets in this litter are a lot longer than the ones in the other pine litters, so they're a lot less likely to fall through into the dirty litter underneath with a sifting pan. Aside from that, I also found that the soiled litter turns into dust a lot better than the other brands. Basically if you're using a sifting pan, it means that it's easier for the dirty litter to fall into the pan underneath, instead of swelling up and staying in pellet form, preventing the soiled litter from falling into the dirty pan underneath. This litter is also way cheaper than any of the others that I've tried. It's a win all around! … more

    Messy, smelly, don’t recommend

By WizardofOz on Sep 5, 2021

This product smelled like hampster. The wet litter disintegrated and was hard to pick up making lots of messes. We used most of it, but couldn’t wait to be done with it. I won’t buy it again.

Eco-friendly, Affordable, Long lasting, and Works!

By Jamie on Jun 20, 2021

It's a little harder to scoop the poops with the pellet litter versus clay, but honestly not that bad at all! I scoop the poop, then sift out the pellets and super fast - my litter boxes are clean! Moreover, the pellets literally turn to sawdust when wet - they do NOT hold onto the smell, and my cats aren't pawing around in wet clay. It's more environmentally and fiscally friendly! My one cat tends to prefer the clay, but he's picky - so I keep one box clay and two boxes of pellets. My other cat loves the pellets. They don't track and it just seems so much healthier all around! Highly recommend!

    Tracks SO BAD

By Mork on Jun 22, 2021

While this product may be good at masking odor for pee and poop that settles underneath, if poop or pee is just on top it stinks. Also the pellets break up and flake and tracks WAY WORSE than any other litter I have tried (which is a few). Overall smells don’t get covered, tracks terrible, and hard to scoop out poop / pee because the pellets all look the same and the pellets catch on the scoop with the poop instead of falling through. Pretty litter is better.

    Kitty loves it!!

By Hoodsie on Aug 16, 2021

No fuss no muss with this litter. I never realized how great this would be. It is not all over your house and there is no smell. My kitty loves to build little hills around his poop to cover it up!!

    Smells bad

By Kara on Aug 29, 2021

I have tried other pine pellets and this one came very dusty and it has a bad smell of Mildew almost? I can’t quite point out what it smells like exactly but it is bad.

    Not happy

By blue on Jun 5, 2021

I soooo dislike this litter. I have 5 cats and over night the poop just sits on the top of the pellets and my house smells like a big A hole. Its the third day and pellets are mostly deteriorated into dust. I smell no pine until im scooping out poop and its very light. I do however love that it does absorb the urine. Might just mix it with some clumping clay litter. Oh i also brought a sifting pan which was not worth it for the 5 pellets that were in tact. I been scooping none stop these few days oppose to the morning and night from previous litter. Oh if your wondering i have 3 boxes. The bag came with a lot of dust to begin.
