My dogs have been on Interceptor Plus for almost two years. However, just a few days ago, one of my dogs tested positive for whipworms. I’m religious about giving my dogs this medication on the 20th of every month… I have a reminder set in my phone so I don’t forget. Since this medication is a treatment and preventative for several different types of worms, including whipworms, and I’ve been consistent with timely and accurate dosing, the meds were not expired, and my dogs did not get sick afterwards… my vet was at a loss as to how one of my dogs still got infected with whipworm. He suggested I contact Interceptor directly and see if I can get anywhere that way.
Wasn’t made clear about meds not considered for e cash cards. Also that to redeem the $30 card I had to spend an additional $100. A definite bait and switch. No more business with you. So long to giving you my business of $69 every month for dog food. I returned the item you are asking about.
We ordered our dogs' heart worm pills through Chewy. The process included entering the information for our two dogs and our veterinarian's contact info. Chewy got approval from the vet and we received the meds in about a week total. Definitely a lot easier than taking the dogs in for a visit to renew their heart worm prescription.
I have retired racing greyhounds. They usually come in with hookworms. I haven't had any problems with hookworms since putting them on the Interceptor. One of my greys doesn't like the taste, so I just cut it into pieces and put it in his food.
I realized almost too late that our Lab was going to run out of food within 2 days. I quickly changed the date (late in the afternoon) The order was immediately prepared and shipped! Thanks soooo much for your customer service.
Recommended by our vet. We give these to our dogs monthly. There's a lot of packaging which can be tough to open but once inside, the meaty flavored treats are eagerly eaten by each dog.
Works well and has the added benefit of preventing a variety of worms. Our dog is at doggie daycare once a week, so we appreciate the extra protection now that she's around groups of dogs each week.
