Interceptor Plus prevents heartworm disease and treats and controls adult roundworm, hookworm, whipworm, and tapeworm infections in dogs and puppies 6 weeks or older and 2 pounds or greater.

Important Safety Information

Treatment with fewer than 6 monthly doses after the last exposure to mosquitoes may not provide complete heartworm prevention. Prior to administration of Interceptor Plus, dogs should be tested for existing heartworm infections. The safety of Interceptor Plus has not been evaluated in dogs used for breeding or in lactating females. The following adverse reactions have been reported in dogs after administration of milbemycin oxime or praziquantel: vomiting, diarrhea, decreased activity, incoordination, weight loss, convulsions, weakness, and salivation.

Treats more Worm types than the other brands

We adopted a little doxie puppy who came to us with severe gut issues due to what turned out to be a whip worm infestation. These are caused by the dog eating or licking paws exposed to contaminated dirt or feces that are infested with the worm eggs. My understanding is that, once they are in your yard, the only way to assure they do not reinfest your furbabies after treatment to get rid of them, is to have the dirt hauled out and replaced, which is not an option for us. Interceptor Plus treats 5 or 6 different worms, including whip worms. No other brand treats these, plus 2 others on the I+ list. My vet doesn’t stock them because they said several of their customers complained that their dog wouldn’t eat them. My dogs love them. Plus Milkbone makes a soft malleable pill pocket that can be easily split & wrapped around anything to disguise its taste. I highly recommend this product. It is a life-saver. Literally, for our fur-babies. (We now have 3 rescues, all on this product).

Old school still works

I have given interceptor to all 6 of my labradors in throughout their lives from 2001 to present. Why stop a good thing and not give all these new fangled combo

I have given interceptor to all 6 of my labradors in throughout their lives from 2001 to present. Why stop a good thing and not give all these new fangled combo drugs that have other parasite killing powers that will also hurt our dogs, such as give them seizures. I understand they all can give seizures, but the more medicine in one thing to me has caused my 1 dog to have seizures, I will never give trifexas to anything.. or any combo drug.

Your company cancelled all my orders for this and did not let me know before shipping. I received partial order and found out that you had cancelled the balance

If you can not send both meds then your company needs to make the customer aware. This happen two times already so I am thinking you can not provide this med. If that is the case it is necessary to tell the customer (ME) that you can not provide. Very unhappy with this customer service.

It works!

Ive used this product for many years and have never had a problem with fleas or ticks. Ive had 7 Schnauzers wear them and no health issues from them. I am happy
