How To Give Your Dog Interceptor Plus
Interceptor Plus (milbemycin oxime/praziquantel) is a chewable tablet flavored with real chicken that you give to your dog once a month, every month. Its overall acceptability is 96.6%, which makes dosing easy.
You can give Interceptor Plus to your dog by hand or add it to a small amount of dog food. Administer the chewables in a manner that encourages your dog to chew, rather than to swallow without chewing. If your dog normally swallows treats whole, you may break the chewables into pieces and feed them to your dog.
Make sure that your dog consumes the complete dose, and observe your pet for a few minutes after administration to ensure that no part of the dose is lost or rejected. If you suspect that any of the dose has been lost, redosing is recommended.

A safe & effective, broad-range preventive.
By Hesher on Feb 28, 2021
My dog has been taking Interceptor Plus seasonally, for years. I would not switch to a questionable, though more convenient, all-in-one chewable, containing flea & tick. My dog takes K9 Advantix 2, about a week apart. Both preventives are reliable.

I love that this prevents both fleas and worms in one simple tablet. My dogs ate them like they were a treat and I can rest comfortably knowing they are protected. I also appreciate how easy it was to order from Chewy and not have to go to my vet to pick these up.

Good product. Process was complicated
By Emma on Oct 27, 2020
It was a problem to get the prescription approval. My Vet is super responsive but chewy customer service said they couldn't reach them. When I called the Vet, they knew when they had sent the approval (4 days before I contacted Chewy) and mentioned other clients had the same issue. With the date of approval, Chewy was able to find the approval and process the order.

Still have to hide it in other food
By Gkanga on Jan 18, 2021
I'm sure the product works well. I trust Chewy. However, my dogs won't eat any pills without it being hid in a meatball!
