This the best finger brush I have ever used. It fits well on my finger. It is flexible so that I can feel the teeth I am brushing, and the "bristles" are all around so that I'm not always struggling to keep them in the correct position. My dog loves the toothpaste, and he constantly tries to lick the finger brush and toothbrush (I use both), so it used to be a struggle to keep the finger brush in position. Additionally, the finger brush is easy to rinse thoroughly after use. I highly recommend it.
My dog tolerates getting her teeth brushed, but any moment I pause is an opportunity for her to squirm away. That's why I really appreciate the 360-degree bristle design on this finger brush. I can put toothpaste all over it and know that it's brushing wherever it makes contact with her teeth and gums. Makes it easier to get in and get out!
This product makes brushing my Yorkipoo’s teeth possible. I love the 360 design that allows it to reach every tooth at every angle. Would definitely recommend if you are having trouble brushing your dog’s teeth!
This is expensive, but I'm going to keep track of its longevity. The cases are nice, but two cases are excess plastic packaging - one is enough. This fits a little better than others I've tried, but my fingers are still too small overall.
I just tried this finger toothbrush for the first time today. I had been using a children’s toothbrush on my dog, a 70 pound lab. He sort of tolerated a regular toothbrush after a lot of a gentle introduction to it, but the first time I introduced this finger brush it was easier right away. I also felt like I was able to feel through the finger toothbrush so could tell when I was getting at his back teeth. It seemed like a more gentle experience, overall that he tolerated better. I was also able to use this finger brush to get at the inside surfaces of his teeth. I had only been able to do the outside surfaces of his teeth when using a regular toothbrush. I’ve tried other shorter finger brushes that only have bristles on one side, but this one seemed more effective —larger and more substantial, it stayed on my finger, more easily. I also liked that the bristles were all around the outside, not just on one side. And the last thing that I like better about this brush than a regular toothbrush, is, it’s easier to clean. I used to have a lot of trouble getting the dried toothpaste and gunk out of the regular toothbrush when I would rinse it. One trick that has worked well with my dog, is to let him lick a little toothpaste off the brush to start. Then I do one quadrant and let him lick a little more tooth paste off the brush. Those little breaks of letting him lick the toothpaste seem to help make it more tolerable for him. The other thing that seems to help is not to brush too fast or aggressively.
My vet recommended using Gauz wrapped around my finger but I felt that the toothpaste would absorb into them and a toothbrush was too harsh on her gums so this product is a perfect middle ground between the two :)
Other finger brushes have been too stiff to fit my finger, but this one is flexible enough to roll on over my big arthritic knuckles. The bristles are soft enough that my geriatric dog with sensitive gums doesn't yelp when I use it.
This actually fits on my finger when most I have purchased in the past didn't. I felt it got better coverage then trying to brush my smaller dogs teeth with a brush.
This allows the best, easiest way to reach and brush all of Mocha's teeth. She is 6 y,o. today, a New Year Day 2017 pup pup and has had her teeth brushed a few times a week since 6 months old. The chicken flavor toothpaste that I buy at Chewy helps her to tolerate the brushing. The finger brush is a far better option than the classic dog toothbrush
Tried so many products before this one. So glad I tried it. It is so soft, easy to put on, very flexible. My dogs do not fight it, enjoy my brushing their teeth for once.
