I like the quality of the hose but I would like it a little longer I hang the drip bag from my shower curtain rod and the length is just making it I would like a little bit more but they do not carry anything longer
tubing seems thinner
have used this brand set for a year but the tubing in this set is very thin and gets crimped and wont flow.
nice and long
I have used 2 lengths and this is a good length for when your animal is squirmy. Miss Kitty loves it!
My baby DC (19 yr old cat) has stage 2 kidney disease and needs to receive SQ fluids. The first setup I received was from the vets and that was the extent of my experience with this type of tubing. The second set I ordered (Jorvet) from Chewy, and it has worked just as well. I have not experienced any leaking from tube. The only differences I found between the Jorvet tubing and that of the Vet is the number of start and stop clamps/cut offs available along the length of tubing (Jorvet has only one), and that of how the needle is secured to the tubing. The Vet tubing allows you to attach the needle to the end of tubing, and then secure it in place with a twist on connector that slips over the base of needle. With the Jorvet, the base of needle just slips onto the connecting end of tubing. For me, while concerned at first that this type of connection would not be very secure, that has not been the case. The needle attaches to the end of tubing so securely that I have to give it a good tug and twist to remove it. I feel completely confident using the Jorvet tubing, without fear that the needle will come loose from tubing or dislodged if DC tries to bolt (she might be 19 but she can still bolt when she wants to).
IV injection set just right.
I really felt comfortable with my purchase. Photo clearly showed the description. I t was the same as what I got from my vet.
The Jorvet Insfusion set worked perfectly. I found it to deliver the Lactated Ringers in a timely manner. I like how the needles just push on as they make it easy to take them on and off compared to the ones with a metal base.
I have received 2 of these that don't work. The first time I was able to reuse one (although the plastic on/off got off kilter and by the end wasn't working -- it's not meant to be used on more than 1 bag, so i don't fault that). The fluid moves into the reservoir at the top but doens't come down the tube which makes the whole thing worthless and terrifying if you need to give daily subqs and the product doesn't work. always good to have a backup but don't bother with this infuser.
Contrary to online description a Prescription is required for this item.
Had my Cats medication delayed for two additional days due to a incorrect statement on Website indicating that this item does not require a script. When I called Customer service as to why my Cats medication has not been shipped they indicated that i needed a script.
My dog was recently diagnosed with kidney disease & requires fluids daily..... No problem, just glad he is still with us, However, fluid & this equipment is $$$ at the vets. Looked on Chewy, talked to a super pharmacist there & now Tucker is getting everything he needs, thanks to Chewy
This is the worst tubing I have ever used! I’m a pediatric nurse and have used iv tubing thousands of times and was happy to help my senior kitty with subQ fluids once she was diagnosed with kidney disease. The clamp on mine broke with the first use and it always leaks everywhere whenever I give fluids because of the leaky tubing...
