These are great to mix with sunflower kernels or into the birdfeeder specifically for the peanut kernels. My woodpeckers love them!
As much as my squirrels appreciate the peanuts, I'm getting very disappointed in the packaging. The last 5 orders I have placed, there are at least 2 of the bags each order that have broken open during shipment and when I open the box, it's a total mess. The seam on the side of the plastic 15 lb bag is not sealed and during shipment, the bags but open at the side seam. It's not 100% fault of the shipping company - it's clearly the quality of the bags.
I purchased this food for my bird feeders. Cardinals, Scrubjays and all others completely ignore the food. I have used other brands and the birds eat it voraciously. Something is clearly wrong with these peanuts.
Peanut Pieces are huge peanuts - not the smaller ones you get from other stores.
These are a hit with the birds. They were fresh and arrived quickly
I tried these but no bird eats them they just sit on my feeder perch and go stale. I thought maybe if I chopped them up smaller that would work. No no. This was a waste of $. Will not buy again.
Yes, it's a little cheaper than other peanuts we bought, but the birds don't seem to like them compared to raw shelled peanuts. Even though the bag says not for humans, it smells like Planters peanuts and not raw like were going to purchase from the competitors again.
Just opened this bag and am really disappointed in the quality of the peanuts. The nuts themselves look old, discolored and starting to shrivel. But worse, about 1/3 of the bag is filled with caked peanut dust—large clumps that are so big I couldn’t put them in the bird feeder, even if I wanted to.
Lyric peanuts are great for my outdoor friends. the peanuts are clean and dust free. All my outside critters love them including my visiting Mallard pair.
