The 24-inch bed is 23 inches long x 18 inches wide. the 30-inch bed is 30 inches long x 21 inches wide, the 36-inch bed is 35 inches long x 24 inches wide, the 42-inch bed is 42 inches long x 29 inches wide, and the 48-inch bed is 48 inches long x 31 inches wide.

Can this be used just as a bed? Is it chew-resistant?

This pet bed is designed to be used as a bed and has a cushioned base that provides your pet with comfort during all seasons. However, it is not chew resistant.

My dog gets to hot easily so he won't use fuzzy or too-soft beds, this one is not fuzzy and has a dense but relatively thin padding. This is one of the first beds

Great Durable fabric

My Malinois puppy has enjoyed chewing up other beds with softer fabric. This fabric is a thicker nylon which she hasn't been tempted to bite on. She also likes to

My Malinois puppy has enjoyed chewing up other beds with softer fabric. This fabric is a thicker nylon which she hasn't been tempted to bite on. She also likes to find zippers which this one does not have which works for us. I have washed it once in our front loader and no issues. She snuggles up to the bolstered sides and keeps her from laying against the crate.
