Important Information
Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 30 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.

Applying The Product
- Remove product tubes from the package.
- Separate one tube from the others.
- Hold the tube with notched end pointing up and away from the face and body. Use scissors to cut off the narrow end at the notches along the line.
- Invert tube over cat and use open end to part your cat’s hair.
- Squeeze tube firmly to apply all of the solution to the cat’s skin as a spot to the cat’s back between the shoulder blades.
Do not apply the product superficially to the cat’s hair. Use only one applicator during each application. Do not touch the area where the application was made until it is dry. Do not allow your cat to ingest this product.
Frequency of Application
Fleas: According to research studies, adult fleas are killed for up to six weeks following an application of fipronil. If, however, your cat or kitten is susceptible to flea allergy dermatitis, or if you believe there is a risk of reinfestation, apply once every month.
Ticks: Each application kills ticks for one month or longer. For best control of ticks, apply once every month.
Chewing Lice: Each application kills chewing lice for one month or longer. For best control of chewing lice, apply once every month.

Did the ingredients in PetArmor for Dogs or PetArmor for Cats change?
No, the ingredients in PetArmor for Dogs or Cats did not change. This product still contains the #1 veterinarian-recommended active ingredient, fipronil, at the same amounts.
Is it normal to still see fleas and ticks on my pet a few days after treating it with PetArmor?
Yes. After treatment with fipronil, fleas and ticks get very active as they die and move to the top of the pet’s coat where they are more visible. This is actually a sign that the product is working. However, if you’re seeing fleas several days or weeks after applying PetArmor, you may have an infestation in your yard or elsewhere. Remember to treat all pets in your house with PetArmor every 30 days throughout the year to help protect your pets from fleas and ticks.
Can I use PetArmor more than once in a month if my pet has a really bad flea or tick problem?
No. PetArmor should not be used more than once every 30 days. If you have a bad infestation, talk to your veterinarian about your options.
Does your product have an expiration date? What is the shelf life of the product?
This product has a shelf life of three to five years. When properly stored and under ideal conditions it will be five years. If there has been a variance in temperature (extreme heat for example), it may reduce the effectiveness of the product. Be sure to store the product in a cool (below 77°F/25°C) dry place inaccessible to children and pets. Do not refrigerate and protect from direct sunlight.

Shouldn't have bought it
By KittyCat on Dec 30, 2020 Top 250 Contributor
I read the reviews and shouldn't have bought it. I have 16 cats indoors and I needed something cheap. They didn't have many so I thought maybe it would take care of the fleas and eggs. Well, they were right this stuff does not work. I hate this because it is a decent price for someone like me, who has multiple cats. I usually buy frontline or advantage, but couldn't afford them at that time. Oh well you live and learn. Can not recommend this flea medicine.

Good value for the money
By Claythumb on Jan 1, 2021
Company is based in NE, which is actually nice to know. Applicator is about the nicest I have used in the years of having pets. Just used it two days ago for the first time, had to use up inventory of other brands. Not oily and did not seem to bother the picky cat as much as other brands. Did not have a flea problem and hopefully this will continue with that.

worst flea experience from this product
By MaltipooMom on Nov 14, 2020
My cat had fleas 3 months in a row after using this treatment monthly. I tried the bombs and washing/spraying everything but the fleas still came back after treating her. I finally had to pay $100+ for a professional to exterminate the fleas in my home, give her capstar, and board her in a special room while this extermination process happened. Do not waste your money on this product. It does not work - I promise

Be careful
By Erin on Nov 29, 2020
So my kitten who’s 16 wks got fleas from me letting her out on the balcony.. Bought this, a comb, and a collar to use on her and either from this or the collar she started foaming at the mouth and puking within in minutes.. She did not eat or lick much- if any of it. I wiped it off and she started to calm down.

Pet Armor flea and tick
By litter on Nov 16, 2020
Bought this because I use this brand for my dogs and haven’t had any issues however with this there’s still some fleas on my cats. I have tried so many different things to get rid of the fleas but nothing is working. Convinced once you have fleas you’ll never get rid of them. May just bite the bullet and buy the more expensive stuff.

Waste of money!!
By KEWTexas on Aug 21, 2020
3 treatments and my cat is still infested. I honestly had no clue how bad it was until I used a metal flea comb. I probably combed off 40 fleas today. Last dose was 6 days ago. I plan to try Advantage II again, but I’m worried it’s too soon. Bathing her this weekend, giving her Capstar, washing everything and using spray all over my place but stressed because I’m worried I can’t treat my poor cat topically. Even worse she’s an indoor cat so it probably came from a former downstairs neighbor who had a rotation of shelter dogs. This stuff is useless. So upset.
