Can this pump be taken aprt and cleaned like some of their other pumps?

This pump may be cleaned. Take the pump apart by first removing the faceplate. Remove the teardrop shaped stator by pulling up on the small lip. Use a fingernail to pull out the impeller, which is held in place magnetically. Clean the pump parts with warm water and soap, then reassemble.

What’s the minimum water level that this will be able to pump? Does it suck from the bottom or side?

The minimum water level will vary depending on which fountain the pump is used with. This pump is used with the Drinkwell 360 (stainless steel and plastic), Pagoda, Avalon, Seascape, Multi-Tier, Zen, and Sedona Fountains. The pump will need to be completely submerged to be operational. The intake for the pump is on the side, and it pumps from the top.

Could you please tell me the dimensions of the pump. I need a small pump that is about 2 INCHES BY 2 INCHES.

This pump is approximately 1 7/8 inches in length and 1 1/4 inches wide.

Constantly breaks

I love my petsafe fountain but these pumps are so crappy. I am about to buy a replacement yet again because I need it, but the pumps stop working or get really temperamental

I love my petsafe fountain but these pumps are so crappy. I am about to buy a replacement yet again because I need it, but the pumps stop working or get really temperamental within a couple of months. I’m averaging needing to replace mine every 5 months. I clean my fountain very regularly so it isn’t due to poor maintenance, these just don’t hold up.

Received pump;didn’t work

We have had our stainless steel 360 fountain for almost 20 years. Have had the same pump for that timeframe. It might stop working but we would run it in a white

We have had our stainless steel 360 fountain for almost 20 years. Have had the same pump for that timeframe. It might stop working but we would run it in a white vinegar water mixture and tap it and it would start working again but this time not doing it. Ordered replacement and it didn’t work. Called Chewy and they are sending a replacement. The reviews are kind of disheartening but am hopeful this new one that they are sending out will work.

New Motor Fails

I've had this pet fountain for quite a while so I've had to reorder replacement pumps several times. Frustrating when you wait several weeks to get replacement pump

I've had this pet fountain for quite a while so I've had to reorder replacement pumps several times. Frustrating when you wait several weeks to get replacement pump only to find it too doesn't work!!! This has happened to me several times but I'm often able to reuse the cord that goes into the wall. So I now have about 4-5 brand new cords and don't know what to do with them. I wish Drinkwell would just sell the pump separately rather than have to pay each time for both parts when you only need the pump itself. I would gladly sell back the other cord parts to Drinkwell if they would let me. That way they wouldn't be creating additional parts that will eventually go in the trash.

Problem solved

A new pump was delivered quickly and it fixed the problem with the water fountain not working. However, the pump should not have failed after less than 6 months
