PetSafe Healthy Gravity Refill Dog & Cat Waterer

Fantastic purchase!

I had high expectations for this pet waterer, after owning a few that were subpar.My last waterer failed miserably. I can honestly say that this waterer exceeded all expectations.It is very easy to clean and refill. I love the fact that the stainless steel bowl is removable and can be washed in the dishwasher. The quality of this product goes unmatched. It definitely exceeds all expectations and then some.I'm a very satisfied customer.

Great product!

We have 3 dogs and it’s great for keeping them fresh water we have the largest size. We fill it up about every other day. The stainless steel base comes out and makes it easy to keep clean. This will be the 3rd one I’m ordering. The spring broke in the cover after 2 years, I’ve been meaning to call the company if I can order a replacement. I definitely recommend this to anyone with a large breed dog!

Started Out Great, Then Not so Much.

We purchased this for our cats for when we’re out of town, so we could leave a couple of days of water for them and not have to have someone come in every day to check on them. It worked great the first half dozen times, but unfortunately on our last trip we came home to find their water bowl was dry. The bottle was full of water, but the spring device that allows the water to flow appears to have stuck. We tried it again while we were at home to see if it was just a fluke, but alas, it happened again. We were pretty upset that our cats had no water for at least a day. Chewy refunded us our money and we would have loved to have donated this it to a shelter, but if it didn’t work for us, it wouldn’t work for them either.

Not quite what I expected, but better!

After breaking my last cheap plastic WallyWorld waterer, I wanted something with better plastic. That the actual dish was lined with a removable steel tray, nice upgrade. I expected that the screw off top would let me top off the water, but you cannot. The reservoir doesn't have a fill hole under the cap. It does have a spring loaded air intake that lets water gravity feed down. This thing is maybe 25% more expensive than that cheap waterer, but probably 75% better built. It's easier to fill, transport, clean....just works so much better. I will be getting the food dishes soon.

Does not refill

I loved the clean look at the stainless steel bowl. However when the bowl empties the food doesn't come down. Defeats the purpose. Glad I tried before vacation my cats would have starved. For the price point I thought this would be of better quality. The cheaper ones work better. So disappointing.

We loved the water for a while however we haven’t had it for a year and the spring is already broken. It lets out too much water from the container which has caused for the water bowl to overflow. Would rate this higher if the spring was a better quality.

Water fountain

Too small a bowl to drink out of for bigger dogs. Put hole in top as shown on website and now it leaks all over. B4 I put hole it was very picky about screwing in and sometimes wouldn't work. So in other words, DONT waste your money!

okay but not very sturdy

(this is for the 64oz size) Pros: - easy to take apart for cleaning - I don't have to worry about refilling my cats' water multiple times a day - the cats seem to enjoy the little glug-glug noise the waterer makes when it refills the bowl Cons: - the part of the bowl they can drink from is on the smaller side, and larger cats may not like it - the plug that lets the water out completely detached itself from the lid while I was hand-washing it and does - not go back in properly. It's technically still usable, if I place the water jug upside down and screw the bottom on that way, but I'll be looking for a sturdier replacement.

Great but could have better design.

This is almost as good as a fountain but it would be better if you could fill it from the top instead of having to tip it over to fill.

Perfect for large dogs

This water dispenser is perfect for our multi dog home. We have purchased other gravity water dispenser sets but this one’s large capacity and it’s ability to lock into the base makes this one the best one we’ve tried.
