D/M Dietetic Dry Cat Food
By PatV on Feb 13, 2019
One of our cats was recently diagnosed as diabetic and the vet prescribed this food because it is higher in protein. While it is somewhat expensive (compared to regular food), our cat loves it so there is never any waste. Our other cats (and our dog) like it too when they can manage to scrounge it, so it must be delicious. The Chewy.com Pharmacy staff is considerate, courteous and efficient. We love Chewy.com, it's the BEST!

He loves it !
By MulligansMom on Jan 1, 2019
I recently found out that my 9 year old kitty was diabetic. After trying wet food, which he had not been eating previously, I did not see a change in his condition and he was constantly hungry. My vet suggested the Purina DM and he has been improving as well as being satisfied when eating. I would recommend this product for anyone who has a pet with feline diabetes.

Alex's Diabetic Food
By laciii on Jan 6, 2019
Our vet retired and we weren't able to get the Purina DM at other vets in the area. We changed food and our diabetic cat, Alex, didn't do well. One of my friends told be about Chewy and I tried it. Great customer service, they were able to take my vets prescription and ship the food that day. This is great food for a diabetic cat.

Healthy if your diabetic cat will eat it.
By Lyman on Dec 19, 2018
This was recommended by vet for our old diabetic cat. When it arrived all the cats loved it and tried to take it away from him. BUT after that he lost interest and would only eat other foods. No idea why. He now eats IAMS senior feed, but his favorite is Temptations treats ... which are no good for him at all ... except to make his last days happpy.

Highly recommend
By Jenna on Dec 15, 2018
One of my 4 cats was recently diagnosed as diabetic. He started insulin but I also wanted to try a food to manage him. Due to my household all the cats need to eat the same food. This food was instantly very popular. They preferred it to their previous favorite by far. It may cost me a fortune but at least it is well liked and tolerated by them all.

cat likes it
By HW1976 on Jan 25, 2019
My cat was recently diagnosed with diabetes, after already being on prescription food for urinary issues. She's had trouble adjusting to new food in the past, but she appears to like this stuff.

Highly recommend for special needs animals
By Amyann on Jan 9, 2019
My elderly cat now needs diabetic mgmt. She’s always been one for hard food but with all cats soft is always better so what my vet and I discussed was a mix of both DM soft and hard foods and she’s going steady and good on it.

So far so good
By Lori on Nov 16, 2018
Our vet recommended this high protein dry food to help keep our senior cat from becoming diabetic. The changeover was pretty easy. Our guy likes the new food and we noticed it actually smells like meat whereas we always thought his other food smelled bad. The pieces of this food are very small and the only thing we are not fond of is there seems to be a lot of broken pieces, even at the top of the bag. We won't know for a couple of months if the desired results are achieved for kitty, but the food itself seems to be a good change for him.

Great Dry Food for Diabetic Cat and His Senior Brother
By Annie on Dec 17, 2018
This is a prescription food, so your vet has to approve it. It is a great food for my diabetic cat and also his brother, who is a senior cat, too. They like to have dry food out, leaving a measured portion of this is a good way to keep them happy without the risk of weight gain.

High protien food
By SueC on Jan 21, 2019
my cats love this food. My vet recommended it because of low carb high protein. They were a little over weight. It seems to keep them full longer
