Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Urinary SO Morsels in Gravy Canned Cat Food, 3-oz, case of 24
Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again.
Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Urinary SO Morsels in Gravy Canned Food was developed to nutritionally support urinary tract and bladder health in adult cats. It dilutes excess minerals that can cause crystals and stones by increasing the amount of urine your cat produces. This formula promotes a urinary environment unfavorable to the formation of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. This specialized nutrition, with a reduced level of magnesium, helps your cat return to and maintain urinary tract health.
Key Benefits- Formulated for adult cats with urinary health issues.
- Dissolves pure struvite stones and helps prevent calcium oxalate stones.
- Dilutes excess minerals that can cause crystals and stones.
- Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology is used to help lower ion concentration in urine, which contributes to stone formation.
- Helps with peeing outside the litterbox and cats straining to go.

Pets can be sensitive to sudden changes in their diets. For this reason, it is extremely important to follow a gradual transition plan to best support your pet's health and product effectiveness. It is recommended to follow at least a 7-day transition plan before exclusively feeding your pet a new food. Cats will often refuse mixed diets, so we recommend adding the new food to a separate bowl from the old food. Start by mixing 75% of your pet's current diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the current diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the current diet with 75% of the new diet. On Day 7, you can feed your pet the new food exclusively. Ask your Veterinarian about the best way to transition your pet to a new food.
Transition Day | Current Diet | New Diet |
---|---|---|
Days 1-2 | 75% | 25% |
Days 3-4 | 50% | 50% |
Days 5-6 | 25% | 75% |
Day 7 | 0% | 100% |
Why should I buy veterinary diets from Chewy?
We offer competitive prices and free shipping on orders over $49. Plus, you'll save more if you sign up for automatic refills with Autoship at Checkout. Chewy experts are available 24/7 to answer any questions you have.
How do I order veterinary diets?
- Search for the diet your veterinarian recommends and add it to your cart. You can purchase your veterinary diets along with any other items you need.
- At Checkout, you'll be asked for your pet's name and veterinary clinic information so we can confirm that the item is authorized by your veterinarian.
- Place your order and we'll take care of contacting your veterinarian. If you have a copy of your authorization, you can expedite the process by uploading a scan or photo of it to the Prescriptions section in your account or your order confirmation. You can also email it to vetdiet@chewy.com.
If your clinic needs more information from you or recommends a different diet, we'll let you know immediately.
I have a copy of the authorization from my veterinarian. Can I send it to you?
Yes. If you have a paper copy of your veterinarian's authorization, you can upload a scan or photo to the Prescriptions section in your account or your order confirmation. You can also email it to vetdiet@chewy.com.
Can I use a veterinarian's authorization if it was written by a veterinarian out of state? Yes. We accept valid authorizations from anywhere in the United States, Canada, and U.S. territories such as Puerto Rico.
Why do I need a veterinarian's authorization?
Veterinary diets are formulated with the precise ingredients and nutrients needed to address specific medical issues. Because these diets are formulated for medical issues, veterinary authorization is needed to advise you on the best way to give them to your pet and to monitor your pet's health while they are on the diet.
Can someone else (such as a caretaker or family member) place an order for my pet?
Yes, but we'll need them to contact us and provide the full name of the pet's owner after the order is placed. This is so the veterinary clinic can locate your pet's records when we contact them. Email us at vetdiet@chewy.com or call us 24/7 at 1-800-672-4399.
Do authorizations expire?
Yes. Your veterinarian will tell us when your authorization expires and how many refills you have before they'd like you to check back in with them.
Can I set up automatic refills? Yes. Sign up for Autoship at Checkout and select how often you need refills. We'll automatically ship your veterinary diets for as long as your authorization allows. If you run out of refills or your authorization expires, we'll automatically contact your veterinarian for a new authorization.
What if I have more questions? How can I reach the veterinary diets team at Chewy?
Email us at vetdiet@chewy.com, start a chat on Chewy.com, or call us anytime at 1-800-672-4399. We're here for you 24/7.

My Cat Screams For This Food
By Brittany on Feb 7, 2021
My 10 month old DSH Erwin goes wild for this food. He yells, runs, and jumps on me when it’s time to eat. He had a urinary obstruction in December so I had to switch his diet and he’s never been happier, and neither have I! I was ordering from Royal Canin, which it took forever to be delivered and has been on back order for months so I had to seek other sources and tried out Chewy. It only takes a few days to be shipped to my house and is definitely worth the little bit more I have to pay compared to RC. Erwin and I are both happy campers!

Royal Canin
By KitCat on Feb 17, 2021
My cat seems to like this brand the best. It was kind of a hassle to get it ordered because the communication between my vet and Chewy wasn’t the greatest, but it all worked out in the end thanks to a couple of Chewy representatives who were SO helpful. It will be nice to get my order from Chewy from now on, instead of having to make trips to the vet when I run low on supply.

Not too enticing but helps
By Nina on Feb 10, 2021
Initially my cat Zuko hated the product, but after days of not being served what he’s used to eating he finally gave in and ate the food. Now he wants to eat more of it. Aside from this, it does help my cat have a better urinary track flow. It does seem help and improve his current situation. I definitely recommend it.

inedible food
By urinary on Feb 19, 2021
my cat, who has bladder stones, won't touch the stuff. she even made that scratching gesture they do next to their litter box to show displeasure. it's a pity you can't try a single sample can before shelling out for an entire crateful! a serious marketing oversight.

The Sugar Babe loved this
By sugarbabe on Jan 22, 2021
We either inadvertently order the wrong items - which I don't know how I could have because he gets the same thing every time, or if I was sent the wrong item, but as long as the vet approves it - this is a win win for us. We were getting the pate kind before, and the cat would eat it because he had to, but now as soon as he hears me open the can, the chubby guy comes running for this - he loves it!

SORRY!....
By Milo on Feb 25, 2021
My finicky cat won't touch this food! I should never have wasted all that money on a whole case...wish I could donate it somewhere... I still support Royal Canin brand wholeheartedly, just not fo my cat.

This Food was a Hit and Solved the Problem
By Lisa on Jan 12, 2021
My cat had been suffering from intestinal pain and incontinence until we fed her this diet, recommended by my vet. She likes the food and always uses her litter box now. It is such a relief to find that a diet change solved her medical problem. An incontinent cat is a nightmare, especially when she mistakes my velvet sofa for her litter box.

Damaged Cans
By Damaged on Jan 8, 2021
Some of the cans I received were severely damaged. For as much as these doctor prescribed cans are I am not real happy they were damaged. I Don't believe it was done on its way to me as the box wasn't damaged but who knows. I took a picture of a few of the cans but it was more than just those two.

Thank for this order!
By Leggs on Jan 18, 2021
My original Royal Canin source informed me that they were "out of stock" so I had to find another source that can ship me this food. Since this doctor prescribed, I was running out until I checked with Chewy.com. So, I'll continue to order from Chewy. Thank you!

Speaking on behest of the cats
By Milosmomma on Feb 10, 2021
We love wet food, especially gravy!!! Why can’t we just have gravy all the time?! Mom you know, dry food would be better if you put gravy on it!!! Hint, hint!! #gravyislife
