This litter box has an interior smooth, flat surface that makes it easy to wipe, clean, and disinfect while also helping to prevent litter buildup caused by spraying.

Will this box fit comfortably for cats up to 13lbs?

In general, the litter box should be one-and-a-half times the length of the cat from tip of the nose to base of the tail. To find out if this litter box will work for your cat we suggest measuring the cat from the top of their nose to the base of the tail then comparing that to the litter box dimensions (25.25 x 18.75 x 16.5 inches).

Does lid snap on to the base of box. Or just lay on it?

These two 4 year old indoor only male cats love these hooded litter boxes. I buy one box for each of my boys. I've been purchasing them for about 3 years now. I have only replaced them twice. The top and bottom separate making for easy disinfecting and clean up at least twice a month. The hood raises making daily scooping and cleaning convenient. I wouldn't change this item, as long as they will keep making it.

Keeping cat “stuff” in the box

We purchased twig theee because my male cat insisted on “spraying “ the wall behind the regular litter boxes. Ugh! I had resorted to covering the wall in pee pads!

I got two for my two cats and the boxes are holding up well these past few weeks. Easy to clean and are sufficiently spacious on the inside for the users. The opening could stand to be a bit bigger- my big boy comes into contact with the frame as he goes in and out. Only real complaint is that I had trouble ripping the stickers off.

When I ordered it, I should have looked at the height because I believe it is too short for my large cat. The main thing isthe snaps on the side to hold the lid

That was the whole reason for me buying a new cat boxbecause my old one had broken and wouldn’t clamp shut any longer.

Big Size and Scoops Easily

This is the third Nature's Miracle oval hooded litter box that I've bought. I've been looking for litter boxes this size for a long time. I like its curved design

This is the third Nature's Miracle oval hooded litter box that I've bought. I've been looking for litter boxes this size for a long time. I like its curved design because pee doesn't sit in 4 corners and harden. The design makes it easy to scoop. I have 7 cats so I need all the easy I can get. I waited to write this review because I wanted to empty the litter box, fill it with water and disinfectant and scrub it to see if cat pee still scooped easily off the sides. I don't know what they put on the sides of the box to make the poop and pee come off easily after disinfecting, washing, and rinsing this box three times. All I can say is I am very happy it is working as well as it did on day 1. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I don't understand why they put a flip top front on this litter box. I find it to be completely useless.
